After you explained to newt what happened in you're vision you walked back to the glade. Newt stayed on the swing and didn't follow you, you could tell he was still shaken up. Not only did he have a sister but she might be coming to the glade.

As you were walking back to the glade you were thinking about your vision as You yourself was also confused. Yssy said that someone called Mieczyslaw would be sent up after you but the only person who was sent was mas... then it hit you. Mason was Mieczyslaw.

You ran to the glade to tell him. You looked everywhere for him but you couldn't find him. "Mason" you shouted but no answer. "MAS-" a hand covered your mouth. "Are you trying to alert the gladers y/n" mason said as he lifted his hand off your mouth.

"Hey listen so I had a vision last night and long story short your name is actually Mieczyslaw" you said with excitement.

"Wait really. What kind of a name is that" he asked with disbelief.

"Regardless it's your name so..." you paused "and the sign on the wall, that was what someone shouted at me when wckd were trying to capture me"

"That's crazy y/n I'm happy you figured it out. Are you okay though" Mieczyslaw said while blushing.

"Awe look at you caring for me, I'm fine mitchie how are you"

"Fine a little tired you won't believe the amount of screaming you here sometimes on a night" you realised he was meaning you and lightly punched his arm.

Later that day

"Hey tommy" you said as you approached the glader sat on the logs.

"Hello darling sleep well?"

"Ugh.. fine and you" you still wanted to Shield him from your visions. He wasn't mentioned yet so it not like your keeping anything bad from him. (Or so You thought).

As he was about to reply Mieczyslaw walked over and sat next to you. "Hey guys"

"Hi mason" you said hiding the fact you know his real name.

"Hiya mas" Thomas said.

"Y/n how come your back to calling me mason?" He asked

"Habit" you shrugged.

"So Thomas what did you think to y/n break through last night" Mieczyslaw asked clueless to the fact that Thomas didn't know.

"Break through?" Thomas replied.

Attempting to change the topic you asked Thomas how his day was however this was met with a short response "fine". That was your worst nightmare you needed this conversation to keep going however he wasn't helping.

"y/n's vision" mason answered him.

"You said you weren't having any" Thomas said as he turned to you

"I lied"

Suddenly Thomas gets up and walks away. You ran after him, "Thomas please" no response "tommy talk to me". He turned around and walked towards you. "Y/n you lied to me" he said angrily.

"I'm sorry Tommy I didn't want to worry you"

"Are you kidding me. Y/n our memories got erased so basically for as long as you can remember I've been in your life. And yet you trust him more. Someone who you've known for what 2 weeks when you've known me for about 7 months." Thomas said

"Thomas I don't trust him more"

"Stop lying y/n. You tell him everything. I don't know why I try. For god sake y/n"

"Thomas please you have to understand I just wanted to protect you, nothing in the dreams had anything to do with you so there was no point in telling you."

"I've told you before y/n I need to know I have to be able to know what's going on how else will I take care of you."

"I'm sorry, but you don't need to take care of me"

"Clearly I do. You act like I don't know anything about you y/n. But you clearly can't handle it alone"

"What do you mean"

He walked over and opened your hands. On the centre of your palms were cuts from where you dug your nails into your skin. "Okay that's one thing" you said.

"Oh and don't you think I noticed the bags under your eyes from keeping yourself up all night to avoid sleeping and having a vision. Oh and not to mention the fact that your forgetting to eat and that you keep disappearing" he answered.

"Y/n your not okay. But it hurts that would rather tell him than me"

"I didn't think you noticed Tommy"

"Are you kidding of course I did."

"Tommy I'm sorry. Your right. Next time I'll come to you"

"I just want you to be safe Sockie" he pulled you into a hug. Once again you felt safe, protected, separate from the crazy life you lead. 'I love you' you said in your head.

Thomas pov:

All she wanted was to protect me. And all I wanted was to protect her. "I just want you to be safe Sockie" I said as I pulled her into a tight hug. Never will I let go of this girl. There was something different about her. Something indescribable. I wanted her to feel safe, protected and to feel free. 'I love you' I said in my head.
