Chapter eight

"Where are we going" Thomas asked trying to keep up. "Come on Thomas just keep up" you ordered. <10 minutes later> "We're here" you said. "Wow it's gorgeous up here". "It's where I come when I need to be alone. Nobody knows about this place" you added. "Thank you for trusting me then" Thomas blushed. You look into his eyes he looked like he was trying to get closer to you. Your nerves build up inside you unsure of what he was going to do "about my dream" you said trying to avoid the awkwardness. "Oh yeah what happened". You start to explain "well I woke up and I saw you. I ran after you but you got further away and when you finally turned around you walked over to the blonde woman. Then a brown haired guy who I think is called janson said 'wicked is good' and you disappeared." He looked at you "that must've been terrifying" he sympathised. "It was Tommy I thought something bad happened to you" you start to tear up "I don't know why I'm crying I'm fine. I'm absolutely fine" you said with uncertainty in your voice. Thomas noticed your tears and walked over to you pulling you into a hug "no your not y/n and listen I'm never going anywhere ok ever. You mean to much to me" he reassured you. "I mean something to you?". He pulled away while keeping his hands on your waist he looked at you. "Of course you do y/n I'd be lost without you I don't know why but ever since I met you I..." he trailed off. "You what". He took a breath "I can't get you out of my head. No matter what I do I constantly worry about you I always need to know your safe. And when stuff like this happens it makes me feel like I can't breath like someone is squeezing my lungs blocking all my airways. I care so much about you". He said while keeping direct eye contact the whole time. "I care about you too thomas." He put his head on yours pulling you into a hug. You grip onto him and he holds you tighter. You look at him and he looks back at you. You both lean in and bump heads. "Ow" you Yelp. "Are you ok" he said while checking your head for a bruise. "I'm ok" you said. "Did you try to kiss me" he asked. "Nope definitely not" you answer. "Ok good". You look puzzled. "Would you not want to kiss me" you ask. "It wouldn't be appropriate." Thomas replied. "Oh so you don't like me that way." You implied. "I do like you y/n but I'm not the only one" he answered. You got even more confused "who else likes me" you asked. "Pay attention and I'm sure you can figure it out. But for now come on let's go to the others it's nearly sun rise".

You head back to the others when newt runs over "hey I didn't see you this morning" newt said "oh I was with Tommy sorry" you replied. "Tommy?". He said with confusion "Oh right. Thomas."  "I know who you mean but since when did you call him Tommy" he asked showing a bit of jealousy. "Just recently" you answered him. "Are you ok newt you seem upset". "I'm fine y/n.  Never been better" he answered. You nod and walk away with disbelief.

Was this the person Thomas was talking about? Does newt like me?  Feeling overwhelmed you go and sit with your back resting on the glade wall picking at grass, Trying to clear your mind.

"Don't do that. It takes ages to grow" you hear a familiar voice say. You look up squinting to block out the sun and see gally stood there. He walks over to you and slides his back down the wall to sit with you. "What's up newbie" gally asked. "Nothing. I'm fine" you carry on picking grass with your head down. Gally lifted your head up with his finger so you were looking at him. "Don't lie to me. Ever" he said with anger in his eyes. "No I'm not ok" you replied. "What's up newbie you can talk to me" he said. "Thomas and newt both like me. Well I know Tommy does but I think newt might as well" you tell him. "And I don't know what to because I have these dreams on a night these. These visions and I keep panicking and I just I..." you start freaking out but Gally grabs your hand "hey hey hey y/n" he said with a soft southing voice. "I'm here and everything is ok. Your ok. Y/n look at me" he moved his head to get into your eye line "your safe ok I'm not going to let you get hurt" he said. "I'm sorry I'm laying this all on you Gally" you apologised. "Don't you dare apologise y/n it's ok honestly I'm here to help you". He leaned over and hugged you. You've never had such a strong hug. You pull away. "Your a good guy Gally." You smiled "I don't see that side of you often" you said. Gally blushed before getting up. "Come on let's go for a walk" he handed you his hand and pulled you up. You jumped up and your faces nearly touched. You backed away "I um". He looked at you and laughed. "Your so innocent. Like a Angel". You blush and he takes you on a walk in the woods.
