You and tommy were still in this everlasting hug, it felt like you had been there for hours.

"Hey y/n there you are"

You turn around to see who it was. "Hey newtie what's up"

"Can you come on a walk?"

"Um" you turn to tommy, he simply nods and you accept. "Sure newt"

"Ok cool, do you want to go to the swing maybe?"

"Yeah sure"

20 mins later

"No way newt that's crazy, that really happened"

"Yeah it was hilarious" he smiled

"I'm sure it was" you smile back. "So tell me, how exactly did it happen"

"Well I was sat with Minho and all of a sudden Minho just lets it rip, then he try's and blames it on one of the girls and they all tackled him to the ground." He explained

"That's crazy, I'm sorry by the way Newtie, I know I haven't had much time recently and I've been kinda neglecting our friendship..."

"That's crazy y/n you haven't in any way neglected our friendship you're hands have been full and it's understandable why, don't apologise!" He said with a reassuring smile.

"Are you sure newt"

"Of course, you know I care about you y/n. I want you to be okay and I get that I'm not your first priority I never expect to be your first priority should always no matter what, be you!"

"Newt"

"Yes"

"I love you"

"I love you too luv"

"Do you think I'm crazy, you know because of the dreams"

"I could describe you in a million words y/n but crazy will never be one of them" he cupped your head with his hand "why do you ask"

"I just sometimes feel that way, people pity me because they think I'm crazy" you said with tears in your eyes "I'm hardly sane newt I can't even sleep"

"Well tonight let's try this, when your falling asleep I'll keep talking to you, you can sleep to my voice and maybe if u focus on it, the dreams will stay in your subconscious" newt suggested

"Worth a shot, wait isn't the box coming up tomorrow" you said

"Yes" he replied

"Newt, yssy might be coming" you reminded him

His facial expression changed to shock "oh yeah"

Later at the village

"Newt do you want to try that thing you suggested" you asked him

"Yeah sure come on"

You got to the hammock and laid down, you cuddled up to him and he started to talk, a mix of story's from the glade and some stuff he wanted to ramble/rant about.

"You know sometimes Mitchell gets on my nerves, he's always there and he is so opinionated. It's probably just me to be honest.
Don't you think the box is weird, like under us is where wckd probably is and nobody seems to understand that.
Tommy man. He's so, ugh i don't know childish I guess. He's very bossy he thinks he can do anything. But I love him like a brother.
Sometimes I see you just dancing when your bored and it makes my day."

You dozed off focusing on what he was saying. You felt relaxed and calm but most importantly safe.

"Morning newt"

"Sleep well"

"Perfectly" you smiled with relief

"That's great luv I'm so happy it worked"

"Morning darling" Thomas said as he walked past you, he turned around as he was walked and winked at you. You melted for some reason Tommy was your weakness but when he said "darling" or winked at you, you were weak at the knees.

"You getting breakfast tommy" you asked

"Yeah wanna come" he offered

"Yeah, bye Newtie" you ran up to Thomas and linked his arm

"Did you hear, first night this week with no vision" you smiled

"How" thomas asked

"Newt helped, he's been really kind lately" you replied.

"Cool" thomas said with a slight annoyance

"Everything okay" you asked

"Fine" he sighed.

You know Thomas really well, but whenever you bring up another guy he gets mad. Almost like he's jealous.

"Y/n!" Mitchie shouted

"Oh hey Mitch how are you"

"Fine and you" he asked

"Im good thanks" you smiled.

"Yo y/n I was wondering if you wanna be my date to the bonfire tomorrow" Mitch asked

You suddenly feel Thomas' arm tense "she's going with me"

You looked at him, you never agreed to go with anyone. So why is Thomas saying your going with him?

"Um thomas no im not" you said

"Yes you are y/n"

You unlinked him and walked away

"Y/n wait up"

"What was that thomas"

"What do you mean" he asked

"Ur so frustrating" you screamed

"How y/n what do I do to frustrate you" he screamed back

"Ugh. That. You do that. You act out then pretend you don't. Honestly Tommy if you want me to go to the bonfire you should have asked. Not just assumed"

"Of course I wanna go with you y/n" he smiled

"Shut up Tommy. Im done with this."

"With what" he asked

"This back and forward game. We get close to kissing then we don't. My heads all over the place because of it and quite frankly I don't know if you like love or hat-" before you could finish thomas grabbed your face and kissed you.

He pulled away and whispered in your ear "y/n shut your beautiful mouth for once second. And listen to me I love you and not in a causal way in a way that I can't even describe or begin to understand"

You pulled him into a big kiss and he gently grabbed your neck.
