chapter 17

lorenzos pov
it's been about 4 months since we found out raelyn was pregnant we found out she was having twins, a boy and a girl we were so exited and i'd been planning to propose to raelyn for a while now i wanted to be married for when the children are here so i'm going to propose to her soon.

raelyns pov
lorenzo has been acting sketchy recently i'm not sure what's going on i've asked matteo and mairlyn and i've even asked mairelle but none of them have given me answers but i know they know what's going on but just aren't telling me i hate it.
i stormed back to matteos room swung open his door without knocking.
"what do you think your doing?" he said sitting up,
"busting open your door what does it look like?" i said in a moody tone
"what wrong with you, wrong side of the bed again?" he giggled
"something like that" i looked at the ground, matteo tapped his bed gesturing me to sit down, i walked over and took a seat next to him,
"what's wrong raelyn?" he said sounding concerned
"it's just lorenzos up to something i'm not sure what and all you three know and not one of you will drop even a single hint and i'm just worrying" i said tearing up, matteo giggled i looked at him confused, he sighed
"i cant tell you much it's top secret okay but it's a good thing you'll love it i promise you'll find out soon enough but we're going out for dinner on saturday dress really nice and be ready for 8" he said while walking to his door then opening it while pointing his hand out towards the hallway hinting for me to leave, i walked towards his door and sighed
"i trust you i swear if this turns out bad your my first victim" i giggled then jogged away while i was jogging o heard matteo shout "what!!" in the distance but i giggled and kept jogging.

i almost made it to the kitchen before bumping into lorenzo.

lorenzos pov:
i bumped into raelyn jogging into the kitchen i'm not sure why she was jogging i guess she was desperate for one of her mad cravings,
"you alright love?" i said rubbing her shoulder, "fine" she said while escaping my touch,
she'd been very distant and blunt i'm not sure if it's because of the surprise i'm planning and because she doesn't know what it is or what.

"raelyn." i accidentally shouted i seen her jump in the distant frightened by the sudden voice raise
"y..yeah" she stuttered frightened
"i'm sorry i didn't mean to shout love i'm just sort of upset" i said quietly
"why what's wrong" she said concerned she came and held my hand, "how about i grab my snack and we talk in the living room yeah" she said cupping my face,
i smiled and walked away to the living room i wasn't sure what to say.

raelyns pov:
he seemed shook up i wasn't sure what happened we decided to talk into the living room, i rushed towards the fridge to get strawberries i was already melting chocolate in a pot, i cut up some strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, bananas and kiwis i dipped them in the chocolate then put them on a plate and put them in the fridge and made i got some crisps put them in a large bowl and i broke up a bar of chocolate and put them in a small bowl and made a couple sandwiches and got a big carton of apple juice and another carton of orange then another of tropical, i went into the cupboard and found a basket that would be perfect for a picnic i ran up to our bedroom and grabbed a blanket, i got back to the kitchen and seen mairlyn and mairlelle both placing my things in the basket
"we know what your doing sweetie well pack it all and get it sorted you have your chat with lorenzo well have it ready for you leaving" mairlyn said smiling i smiled and walked through to the living room

"sorry i took so long" i said breathing heavily i sat next to him i placed my hand on his knee
"so what's up" i looked at him
"well your being distant and i'm not sure if it's because nobodys telling you about my surprise or i'm not sure if you want to leave me of anything i'm just scared i don't know why your being distant and if you do decide to talk to me your very blunt and i feel like i'm in the wrong and i hate it i just want to make you happy" he said looking at the floor
i cupped his face and looked him in the eyes
"no lorenzo i'm just scared of losing you i'm carrying your baby and i started thinking that there was no surprise and you just wanted to leave me or you found someone better than i am and i just got scared i realised i shouldn't have been distant but i spoke to matteo and he told me this surprise your planning is a good thing and i've nothing to worry about" i said tearing up
"there is not one girl that walks this earth that is better than you never mind that not one girl could even be close enough to compare to you love" he said while hugging me tight,
"come on" i giggled while grabbing his hand and leading him to the kitchen
"where are we going" he said
"shush don't ask questions" i said

we got into the kitchen and everything was sorted we had our picnic ready the blanket on top of the basket i grabbed the blanket and lead him out the front door he took the basket off me assuming it was dangerous because of the baby, i took him into a park and we sat under a tree i unpacked the picnic lorenzo looked at me in awe.

lorenzos pov:
i'm so in love with this girl she's the best anyone could ever dream of and the fact i have her as mine is just insane she saw i was upset in the kitchen said she was getting a snack she was preparing a picnic the whole time she was so gorgeous,
"lorenzo" she said waving her arms around my face
"huh oh yeah what?" i said confused
i had zoned out while staring into her soul, raelyn giggled
"sorry i was lost in thought" i said laughing with her
"it's okay love" she laughed
