It didn't take Logan long to fall asleep. He was exhausted from his meltdown and just wanted to move into the next day.

(In Logan's dream)
The room was all mirrored apart from the dark wood floor, the room itself was slightly dark. Logan stood in the middle, looking at all the mirrors.
"Take a long look at yourself Logic"
A voice growled in his ear, as Logan approached one of the mirrored walls, looking up and down at himself, he was a mess! His hair was all over, his shirt was untucked and his tie hung extremely loose on his neck, he tried to fix himself up, but when his gaze returned to his reflection he was even more of a disaster. "Theres nothing you can do. If you don't know what to fix, everything remains broken" the voice jeered. Logan just couldn't understand it, he wasn't broken, only damaged.

Logan woke up suddenly to the sound of his alarm, that meant it was 8 in the morning and he had 6 and a half hours before he needed to be at the main corridor. He hadn't forgotten the nightmare or what had occurred the previous evening but Logan was determined to make sure he had a good day today. Logan reached for his normal attire, but his instincts told him to wear something different. Logan looked in his closet, and picked out a navy, long sleeved shirt with his logo at the bottom of the sleeves, and a black and white pinstripe necktie. He did just wear his normal black pants, but he changed his normally black shoe laces to blue. He checked the burn on his arm to make sure it was healing, which it was. He calmly combed his hair so it was tidy and left to go make breakfast.

Normally, it would be Patton and Janus making breakfast today but because Logan had left to take care of the burn he received while he was helping Patton make dinner, leaving Patton to do it on his own, Logan thought it be appropriate if he swapped breakfast and lunch with Patton because Logan would be busy around that time. Janus was already awake, dressed and reading a book on the table, he was probably waiting for Patton to wake up so they could get breakfast started. "Salutations Janus, I hope you are well" Logan said as he sat at the table. "I'm fine, but I think it more appropriate to return the question, regarding what happened last night"
"I am feeling adequate, I just want to have a good day and try to pick up 'broken pieces'" Logan replied, putting the vocabulary card back. There was an awkward silence in the room, Janus had another more distressing question to ask Logan but didn't know how to ask it. "Is there something wrong? You keep looking like you're about to say something but you're not saying anything" Logan queried.
"You don't like me very much, do you?" Janus blatantly asked. "I wouldn't describe us as close, but I wouldn't say I dislike you, really we can be quite similar at times" Logan replied simply.
"And you don't have feelings for Patton then?" Janus interrogated, the tone in his voice faltering slightly.
"I'm assuming you're asking me if I love Patton in a romantic sense, and my answer to that is no, he's a dear friend but nothing more"
"I'm 'not' sorry, I 'totally didn't' overhear you and Virgil talking last night, so why are you jealous of us?"
"You two have established a loving relationship between eachother, like Virgil and Roman are now, but I don't really have anyone" Logan uncomfortably shared, Janus picked up on this and changed the conversation. "Any ideas for breakfast, since Patton's not up yet I'd think I'd better get the ingredients out just to save time"
"That reminds me, I'll swap my lunch cooking turn with Patton's breakfast turn, since I had to leave abruptly while helping him make dinner" Logan stated.
"Totally answered my question"
"I'm thinking bacon and cheese omelettes, what do you think?"
"Fine with me"
The two got up and got everything prepared, and started cooking. Footsteps were heard behind them, so they both turned around. "Logan you know it's my turn to cook right?" Patton puzzled before yawning and stretching, he was still in his pajamas (The cat onesie) "Morning Patton, I'm going to help make breakfast today, if you wouldn't mind making lunch later" Logan stated, while flipping an omelette. Janus served another omelette and put it under the heat with the other 6 they had already made and went to go hug Patton, "I hope my presence didn't interrupt your sleep at all Patton, I'd hate for my little angel to loose his sleep" Janus whispered as he ran his fingers through Patton's hair. "Are you kidding? I've never slept better!" Patton cheered, squeezing Janus in his embrace for a moment, before letting go of him and sitting at the table. "So what's for breakfast?" Patton chirped.
"Omelettes" Logan stated, as he served the last one. "I'll go wake up Virgil and Roman" Patton beamed as he left. "I love him" Janus signed as he watched Patton skip down the corridor to Roman's room which came second after Logan's. Together, Logan and Janus served two omelettes on each plate and placed each plate down at the table, then sat down themselves, waiting for the others, they'd been wondering when the awkwardness would start, but it hadn't happened for once. Finally, Patton, Virgil and Roman sat at the table and they all started eating and talking, Logan thought it was nice, but it wasn't right, Remus wasn't there. Remus only visited them around 3 days a week, and almost never had breakfast there.
"So, Logan anything you want to say about last night Roman inquired. Logan couldn't blame him for his curiosity, a trait the twins shared. "It was an emotional fluke, I just had a lot on my mind but I'm fine now"
"That's great Logan!" Patton cheered as he ate his breakfast. Logan was the first to finish and the first to leave, Virgil then finished, quickly followed by Roman. Janus and Patton finishing last. Patton gathered all the empty plates and put them in the dishwasher, and just like that it was 10:23.

4 hours and 7 minutes, not that long for Logan to wait, he summoned a new sudoku and finished it. 10:55. 3 hours and 35 minutes. Logan was going to need something more time consuming, so he summoned himself a brand new puzzle on his desk, he hadn't even thought about the image. 13:46. Logan had finished the puzzle. And it was only now that he realised, the picture of the puzzle was the duke's logo.
