Becca
After we got everything done at the studio we came home and Brit pulled Kat off somewhere to talk about Louis' crush. The only reason I knew about it is because Harry called and she put him on speaker. "What's that about?" Lex asked watching the two girls rush off with not much of an explanation. "A certain boyband member has a little crush and she's trying to set them up." I explained sitting down before shooting up looking at the clock. "Woah! Where's the fire?" Megan asked obviously shocked by my outburst. "I've got a date in two hours!" I said quickly realizing I almost forgot. How the heck did I almost forget? "Well, you've got plenty of time, Lex will pick out clothes, I'll do your hair, and then we'll be done before he's even leaving his place." Megan said putting the newspaper down and preparing her for this mission.
"Ooh! This would look super-hot for your date!" Lex said showing me one of the outfits I had just gotten before we left home. "Yes! Especially with her red wedges!" Brittani said joining the party with Kat who looked flustered. "You good girl?" I asked wanting to make sure she wasn't about to flip out for no reason. Sometimes it just happened. "Yeah, totally, but um... have you checked your twitter recently?" She asked. I shook my head and reached for my phone carefully since Megan had a curling iron right against my head. "No, but I am now." I said loading up the app. I didn't check what people said often because there was constant hate because of my family and my past. It didn't really help that I was sort of popular at school and wasn't afraid to do whatever I wanted. "Just don't get mad okay... you know how people are." She said before going to the closet to help Lex look for the wedges.
"Let's see, lots of hate from fans... The boys all telling them to knock it off... and... are you kidding me right now!" I yelled seeing the tweet that Kat must have been referring to. "What?" They all asked, well, all but Kat. I showed them my phone and watched them all have similar reactions. "And he hasn't responded to that?" Brit asked. I shook my head and tried to wait until Megan was done with my hair to flip out on him. "Okay I'm done... and I'm also running before you decide to snap on me instead of him." Megan said setting the curling iron down and escaping with the other three following her quickly. I didn't even wait for them to be out of the room before I called him. "Hey you've reached my phone. If you're a crazy fan you've got the wrong number, otherwise leave a message." His voicemail said picking up. Oh no, he does not get to send me to voicemail! "What the hell is going on with twitter? Call me back as soon as you freaking get this!" I snapped.
Niall
I hated that our fans were capable of things like this. Sending people they don't even know hate because they're close with the band just didn't make sense. Were we supposed to be hermits and not contact anyone? "Niall, there's nothing you can do. We already tweeted to everyone about it, but we can't control our fans." Liam said standing in the doorway as I had been pacing back and forth. "I know this! But she doesn't, and what if she decides she doesn't want anything to do with me or any of us for that matter because of this?" I asked. "You're phone is ringing..." He said trying to distract me. It wasn't going to work unless it was actually ringing, in that case I should probably answer it.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Niall?" Some asked. It sounded a lot like Becca though.
"Becca?"
"Yeah, so about our date today..."
"Oh God, I knew it. I knew the hate was going to make you change your mind. I mean, I get it, but can we at least stay friends?"
"Good to know where your head is at. I actually wasn't going to say that."
"You weren't?"
"No, not at all. I was going to ask where we were going so I could figure out what to wear."
"Wear something comfortable, but I'm not going to tell you where we're going."
"Niall!"
"Bye Becca! See you soon!" I said hanging up the phone with a smile.
I was outside her building now realizing I had never been here before so that just made my nerves even worse. I made it to the elevator without anyone seeing me and up to her floor. At least, the floor that Harry told me they lived on. As I walked down the hall, one of the doors was open and I saw Kat and Lex sitting on the couch. "Hey! Niall, um... come in. Becca will be out in just a few minutes." Lex said looking nervous. Why would she be nervous when it was Becca going on the date? I nodded and decided to sit in the chair across from the two friends and wait.
"I'm not playing Kane! Fix it or I swear to all that is dance I'll... I don't care how! Just put the rumors to rest!" Becca snapped walking into the room with shoes in her hand and her phone to her ear. Her back was to me so she hadn't seen me yet but I was already amazed at what she was wearing. "Why? Why do I want the rumors to stop? Well because it's things like this that make it impossible to date! Fix it or I swear I'm going to show up in New York and fix it myself and you won't like my way." She said before slamming her phone down on the counter and turning around. "Niall!" She said surprised. That makes two of us...
