Niall

I can't tell if she really means that she doesn't care, and if she does I really want to know why not? I mean, it still hurts me when I get hate from fans, or I guess not so fans. They don't know you which is why it sucks when they say things. "So, since we're officially going on our date, will you tell me where it is we're going?" She asked leaning over the console to pout. I was going to avoid eye contact so I didn't break and tell her, it was going to be a surprise. "Nope, you'll find out when we get there." I said turning off the exit. It was only about five more minutes before we came to the restaurant and I saw Becca's eyes light up a bit. "It's adorable, but it looks hidden, how'd you find it?" She asked as I parked the car and we both got out. "Well I was shopping with Louis and we got lost. This is where we ended up." I told her taking her hand and leading her inside. I think it's fair to say we were both a little surprised at my bold action because I blushed and she started smiling at the ground. "Reservation under Adams." I told the host. It was a guy so I wasn't as worried about someone fangirling. "Right this way Mr. Adams." He said taking two menus and leading us through the restaurant to a small room in the back. "Adams?" Becca asked looking confused when he left and we were alone. "Well it's easier to make sure I'm not recognized as quickly." I explained.

"So, twenty questions to get to know each other better?" I asked when we were both silent for a bit. It wasn't awkward, but I felt like we should be talking. We definitely had more than enough that we didn't know about each other. She nodded her head and then I asked her if she wanted to go first. "What were your first pets?" She asked playing with her straw in the cup. "Two goldfish. I named one Tom and the other Jerry but my brother overfed them and they died. So, why'd you move to London?" I asked. It was a question that she and Brittani had avoided every time they had been asked. "That's a really long story..." She said sighing and moving her hair to one side. "I have plenty of time, after all, the first date is all about getting to know each other." I pointed out. "Well, a few months ago, our parents got together and decided they wanted us to make something of ourselves. But because they were all well known in America they figured we had to do it in another country. The agreement was if we didn't figure it out by the end of the summer we would come back and go to school back home, but Brit and I got caught skipping class and our parents decided we needed to learn a lesson that we couldn't back home. So I guess here we are." She said all in one breath amazingly enough. "You get caught skipping and you get sent overseas? That seems like an odd punishment..." I said. I mean, the worst my mom ever did was give me extra chores.

"Well it was more my mom's idea of a punishment than my dad's. He wasn't happy about her decision. In her mind this was the only way I was ever going to grow up." She explained putting air quotes around grow up. "You seem pretty grown up if you ask me." I said under my breath. She chuckled having heard me and shook her head. "Yeah, well this is the side of me my mom never really saw. I mean, she worked, and I spent most of my time with the girls or at the studio." She said. Studio? "Huh?" I asked. "Did I really forget to mention I'm a dancer? Or did you forget?" She asked looking surprised. I tried to search through my mind when she would have told me but I just couldn't remember. "I don't know honestly. But why dance?" I asked. "Well, I think it was my turn to ask a question but whatever. Dance was always a stress reliever. I didn't have to think it was just natural. And now my turn. Who's your favorite in the band?" She asked. I shook my head and held my hands up. "I don't have a favorite. They're all my best friends. That's like me asking which of your friends is your favorite." I pointed out. "Simple, Brittani, but we've known each other since diapers. The rest of them we met in like first grade." Becca said. No wonder they're so close... they've known each other almost forever.

Becca

"So how was it!" Someone, because I couldn't even tell you who at this point, yelled the moment I stepped through our front door. "It was awful! I can't believe I thought he was cute!" I said placing my hands on my hips watching as they all froze up in shock. Not that I blame them, I mean, why wouldn't they when everything was perfect a couple of hours ago. "What!" Brit screamed standing up from the couch. I couldn't hold back anymore and just busted out laughing. "She's messing with us... Becca! You can't do that! We were worried!" Kat scolded covering her heart as if she were relieved. I mean, she might be who knows. "I'm sorry but it just was too easy! For real though, we had a great time." I told them truthfully. I knew they would want more details than that but for now it's what they were going to get.

"So will there be a second date? And will the sex heels be used on that one too?" Megan asked motioning to my shoes. I hated when they called my shoes that. They are just shoes. No reason to imply they mean something more. "There will be a second date, and my shoes will depend on what we do. Now quit calling them sex heels! You all are too obsessed with sex!" I said trying to escape the madness that I call friends. "I'll have you remember why we call them your sex heels. Or if we need to we could always call Kane and ask about them." Lex joked getting everyone silent. Normally I wouldn't be upset when they brought up Kane, but after the rumor that was started, I'm definitely not really in the best mood to have to think about him. "Sorry... Did he explain why he hasn't said anything?" She asked trying to change the subject a little. I shrugged. His reasoning made sense, but this was more than he could handle alone and I knew that. "He said there's a source that's feeding the paper this story. I just don't get it! Why the hell would anyone think I was still dating him when we broke up months ago? I mean, sure we hang out, but we haven't kissed or done anything more than maybe hug once or twice since we ended things. I don't want this rumor forcing a wedge between Niall and I. Things are still just too new with us." I said sighing. When I saw that tweet I called Kane, when he didn't answer I sent him four different messages waiting for a response. He finally called back and said he didn't know why it was out there and that he didn't know what he could do. He may have also said he didn't get why I cared but we aren't together so that's why I cared.

"Well did you tell him about Kane?" Brit asked grabbing my arm as I passed her and pulling me down to the couch. "I did... I mean, I told him we had a past but I didn't mention anything about the news story. I just told him there was a rumor that Kane needed to fix. I knew if I said anything more chances were we wouldn't have finished the date as well as we had. "I don't mean to be pushy, well maybe I do... but you have to tell him. I mean, you and Kane are going to have to both make statements and you're going to want to have Niall on your side to kind of push that you two aren't together." Megan said. Her parents were big in public relations so she grew up learning how to handle bad situations. "I know, I just don't know how to tell him you know? I mean this could be a little too much for him. If I were in his shoes I'd want out just so I didn't get sucked into the drama." I pointed out.
