Becca
We went back to our apartment planning on doing nothing for a couple of hours but that plan was immediately interrupted. "The girls keep calling. Isn't it like six am or something over there?" I asked finally answering Lex's call. "You will not believe this! Guess what the girls and I are doing right now!" She screamed forcing me to pull the phone far away from my ear. "What? Homework? Studying? You do have finals..." I said thinking of the most realistic things they would be doing. "No! We're packing! We talked with our parents, and by talked, I mean we begged for them to let us come early since you two were there already and finally they agreed! We're getting on a plane tomorrow and will be there around five ish!" Kat squealed. So they're all together, makes a lot more sense... Wait... they're coming? I immediately screaming and jumped up and down before replaying the message to Brittani who was just as excited.
"How did you convince your parents to let you come?" Brittani asked putting the phone on speaker so we could all talk. "We may have played the whole rich kid card..." Megan admitted. I sighed loudly because that was one thing we agreed not to do unless it was an emergency. "Guys!" I scolded. "It was either that or you would have to wait another two weeks or something ridiculous like that to see us! Either way, you guys will come pick us up right? I mean, we could take cab if you don't want to see your friends..." Kat whined. I chuckled but thought she was being overdramatic like always. "We don't have a car, but yes, we'll meet you at the airport and then take a cab back." Brittani said for me. That must have been good enough for them because they squealed and then hung up the phone.
To say Brit and I were excited would be an understatement. I was counting down the hours until we got to reunite with our best friends and she couldn't even sit still. "So, we have five hours. We could always talk about the guys..." Brit suggested after we both realized time wasn't going to go by any faster if we just kept waiting. "I am too bored to argue with you right now..." I said turning to face her. She had a ridiculously huge grin on her face and I didn't even know why. "So... I saw the tweet from the game. Who is it you're admitting to liking?" Brit asked. What the hell? I knew I shouldn't have mentioned that in the tweet. "No one, it was nothing Brit." I said trying, and failing to get her to let it go. "Come on! I noticed that you posted it and then looked at Niall. Is someone crushing on the blonde Irishman?" She asked. Thank god for not blushing often. "No! Of course not." I claimed. I was not crushing on him. I found him interesting, that's all. "Quit lying to me. I know you, you're my best friend. There's definitely chemistry between you two." She said. When I stayed silent she took that as a surrender even though it wasn't. "Come on, I'm sure even the guys noticed the way you two were looking at each other the whole time." She claimed. "Fine! Then why don't we call them and find out because I promise you there's nothing going on." I said really hoping she'd take that as a sign to drop it. Not actually call them.
"I'm calling Harry now." She said dialing the number as if she had it memorized already. Damn it... "Brit no!" I said reaching over trying to grab the phone but she was too quick and was off the couch before I could even get near the phone. "Hello?" Someone asked. I thought I recognized the voice, but was really hoping it wasn't him. I'm guessing by the smile on Brit's face she got that impression too. "Who is this?" She asked backing away as I got off the couch. "Niall?" He said as if it should be obvious. Well it's not Niall! Harry should be answering his own phone! 'I told you so' she mouthed before putting a table between me and her. I should probably give up. There's not much I can do to stop her when it would only be a matter of time before she did it when I wasn't around. "Oh! Hi Niall, can I talk to Harry for a minute?" She asked sickly sweet. I hate her so much some days. "Sure, Haz! Brit's on the phone!" He yelled. I couldn't help but smile a bit cause he sounded so cute... wait, no. Rephrase that, he sounded... I'm just going to stop before I dig myself into a deeper hole.
"Hey Brit, what's up?" He asked breaking me from my train of thought. "Hey! I was just wondering if you thought there was something going on between Becca and Niall." She said smiling at me as if this were my idea the whole time, I mean, I suggested it, but I didn't think she'd do it. "Yes! There's definitely something between them! I mean, sure they just met, but the looks they gave one another said it all!" He responded making my eyes go wide. Are you kidding me? "That's what I said!" She squealed before giving me that stupid look that said 'I was right'. "So how are we going to set them up?" He asked. I was going to protest but Brit took him off speaker immediately and ran into her room. Damn her! "Brittani! I don't care what you're planning but we need to go pick up the others from the airport!" I yelled banging on the door. "Fine! I'll come out if you promise not to kill me!" She yelled back. I yelled okay but hit her the second she opened the door. "You said you wouldn't kill me!" She whined holding her arm like a child. "You're still breathing aren't you? I didn't actually kill you as much as I may want to." I muttered more than a little annoyed with her.
We waited patiently... or maybe not so patiently, in the airport for the girls to finally get off the plane. It had landed fifteen minutes ago so it was only a matter of time before we finally saw them. "AH! I missed you both!" Lex screamed dropping her bags and running over full speed to us. The other two did similar things, but jumped causing all five of us to go tumbling over. "We missed you guys too! Oh my gosh we have so much to tell you!" Brit said trying to push them off so we could stand. "Um... Becca? Brittani?" Someone asked from behind us. We all turned our heads as much as possible considering the position we were in and then scattered to stand up. "Hi guys..." I said glaring at Brit. Niall and Harry were standing there in very lame disguises if I do say so myself. But then again, I guess if other people didn't know them as friends it might work. "I thought we agreed not to meet any hot guys until we were all together!" Megan yelled smacking us both on the back of the head. "Ow! It's not my fault! Nor did we plan this!" I said rubbing the spot on my head and then fixing my hair since there was no doubt it was a mess now. "Well, Brit said you were picking up your friends and we were hoping you all would want to hang out afterwards." Harry said looking at the ground. "So you just show up at the airport assuming we would?" Kat asked crossing her arms obviously annoyed. Thank you! Someone else can say what I was thinking. "Uh..." He said hesitantly his eyes going wide behind the sunglasses. "Ignore her! She's cranky from being on the plane." Brit said glaring at our three friends. We've spent most of our lives together so we didn't always have to use words. Whatever look she just gave them though was enough for their whole demeanor to change. I was in for a long night wasn't I...
