Becca

~Three Months Later~

"I'm not sure..." I admitted. Niall and I had been sitting in my bedroom talking about this topic for over an hour. "Come on, we spend a lot of time together anyway, and it's not like we'd be all that far from the others." He pointed out. Earlier today he had asked me to move in with him and I thought he'd been joking. I mean, we've only been dating for three months. "That's not the point Niall, the point is that you're going to be touring again, which means I'd be in the apartment alone for months." I stated. He groaned and then laid back on the bed. "We still have a while before a tour. We haven't even finished writing the next album. So that isn't even something we have to worry about right now." He tried. "Why do you want this..." I asked. If he really wanted to move in together he would have no problem explaining why. "Because Becca, this feels right. And I love you." He said as if it were nothing. Uh, hello? We hadn't said that yet. "Niall..." I whispered quietly. I didn't quite know how I felt, this was still kind of new to me too. "Becca you don't have to say it now. But that's why I want us to move in together, why wait when everything seems to be going right for us?" He asked. He had a point and I knew that, but still. "And you'll tell the guys and the girls?" I asked. He nodded his head quickly and smiled.

"You do know we're running out of time to tell them we're not coming back." Brittani said when Niall and I finally finished agreeing on things. "Do I have to call her?" I whined sitting down next to Niall and pulling my legs up to my chest. "Come on, we've all done it except you. Time to grow a pair." Kat said throwing me a phone. "What are you not wanting to do?" Niall asked kissing the side of my head. "Calling my mother and telling her I'm not coming back..." I whined dialing.

"Rebecca! It's nice to hear from you after three months. If I didn't look at your twitter I would have assumed you were dead." She snapped upon answering. "Well, if you hadn't pushed me away I might have felt the need to speak to you. I talked to dad every day." I threw back purposely to make a point. "No matter. When does your flight leave?" She asked. And here is what I was dreading. "I'm not coming back. Brit and I both have jobs with a dance studio and work part time with a dance company." I said wanting to leave it at that and hang up but I knew if I tried that there was a bigger chance of her actually coming to London. "Sure, and how long will that last?" She asked sarcastically. I rolled my eyes and pushed myself off the couch. "This is going to get ugly. Excuse me." I said to everyone still in the room.

"The contract with the dance company is good until we can't dance anymore, and the studio is year to year but considering we have a good relationship with the owner we'll be fine. Are you done trying to make me feel like I can't do anything now?" I snapped once I shut my door. "I'm not trying to make you feel that way. You just have a history of not following through!" She snapped. "When! When have I ever not followed through? You mean about all the shit you wanted me to do that I was never interested in? Or all the blind dates you set me up on because dating a musician was never going to be good enough? I'm eighteen, and more importantly, an entire country away from you so let me live my life and quit trying to tell me what to do!" I snapped hanging up the phone and leaning back against the wall. "Everything okay in here?" Lex asked hesitantly from the doorway. I shrugged my shoulders because I had to face it, nothing I ever did was going to be enough for my mother.

"Stupid question. Right. Well, it doesn't matter what she thinks. You've done this on your own and she can't take that away from you. I mean, you know your dad is ridiculously proud of you and he tells you that every time you talk. Your mom... just... well I can't even make an excuse for her because I don't know." She said sliding down and sitting next to me. "It's just frustrating you know? Like I have been trying for so long to do everything she wanted so maybe she'd be proud and it's never enough." I said getting angrier by the moment. "It'll be okay. Just remember, you have your best friends, an amazing guy who is head over heels for you, and if not your mom, you've got your dad." She said attempting to make the situation better, too bad there isn't really much that could make this better.

Niall

Becca wasn't in a great mood after talking to her mother so I was trying to give her space. "You're home early. I thought you and Becca had plans tonight?" Louis asked as I walked through the flat to my room. "She's not in a great mood. Had to talk to her mom." I said deciding to break the news to them now rather than later. "I thought girls and their moms had great relationships?" he asked looking surprised. Well of course when his girlfriend, Kat, had a great relationship with her mom. "Not Becca. She's really close with her dad, but not her mom." I explained. I had already talked to her dad, without her knowing of course, and he was going to be taking a week off and coming to see her. "Why does he look like he's got bad news?" Liam asked entering the room with the other two in tow. "I don't... it's actually good news." I said deciding it was now or never. "What?" Harry questioned leaning on the back of the couch. "Becca and I decided to move in together." I announced watching their eyes go wide. "But isn't that too soon? I mean, you two have managed to keep this relationship to yourselves so far moving in together is going to make that impossible." Zayn pointed out. I knew what he was saying was true, but that didn't change that we were going to do it.

"I think what he means is that you've only known her three months and have only been dating her that long too. He just wants to make sure you're thinking it through... right Z?" Liam asked giving him the look. You know, the one that tells your friends to shut up? "Yeah! Of course..." He said. I knew he didn't mean it though and that's okay. "Well I think it's great. You two are good together." Harry said before leaving the room pulling Zayn with him. Now it was just the three of us. "I'm going to go call Kat..." Louis said before escaping. Liam must want to talk about things because that's the only reason I could understand everyone leaving like that.

"You're sure about this right?" He asked. I nodded my head, I know it seems impulsive, and probably ridiculously fast, but like I told her. It feels right. "Then do it and don't let anything or anyone try and change your mind. It's your life, hell, you're the only one who can decide what's right for you."
