10 missed calls were sent to her phone at 8pm. Kyouya realized she must've ignored them for a bad reason or she couldn't get access to her phone at all due to her own mother. He sensed something bad happened between the two that caused Aphrodite to be silent all the time.

Yet before he left the Ootori Mansion, his other two bodyguards told him Ayaka had left him a box of chocolates in the evening with a note saying 'Happy St Valentine's Day, Kyouya. I promise I will love you for eternity, even if we couldn't be together in this life or the next.'

She explicitly told the maids to only give the present to Kyouya's bodyguards once he has done his work with Yoshio. Kyouya didn't have time to think. He brought the box of chocolates with him in the limousine. Even the note sounded pretty off.

They arrived immediately at the mansion and Kyouya's bodyguard Tachibana went to talk to the guards.

"Our Young Master Kyouya wishes to see his beloved for Valentine's Day."

Kyouya tried his hardest to contain his distress while his stomach was doing flips. As soon as the guard informed Tachibana that no visitors are allowed, Kyouya sprinted outside the car and immediately ran towards the main entrance.

The main door was locked.

"Shit!" He cursed, being aware of the two guards who were chasing him with a flashlight.

All of a sudden he saw Tachibana doing karate and judo at both of the guards and stole the keys to main entrance.

"After all my job is to make Master Kyouya happy." He smiled and handed Kyouya the keys.

"Thank you Tachibana, I owe you one."

The Ootori boy broke in with the keys and noticed the hall was empty. It seemed as if everyone was going on a vacation.

It can't be....

Kyouya refused to give up yet. He checked out the dining room, the kitchen and other rooms downstairs. No sign of Aphe. Nothing. He ran and took the stairs, heading to the 3rd floor instead as it was the supposed location of her bedroom.

"Kyouya?"

A soft familiar voice spoke from a room behind the one he was looking at. Kyouya took a deep breath and walked to the purple haired girl who was casually walking in her nightdress.

He felt as if there was a slight lump in his throat.

"I'm here to take you out for dinner. Will you be my Valentine, Ayaka?"

Aphe rubbed her eyes, trying to process the situation.

"I would but I thought you're busy today?"

"I finished my task early. It was unexpected. Father gave me a praise, but turns out he was trying to get back at me for what I did during the school festival." Kyouya explained calmly. "May I come in?"

Aphrodite was a bit reluctant to let him in but in the end she did. She was packing her clothes, took a nap and it turned out Kyouya decided to visit her earlier.

He noticed her luggage. Her phone was nowhere to be found, her mother must've been the one to take it away. His heartbeat started to race.
