"And then she said, 'Lucky charm!'" Mari shouted as she raised her hand to show as if she was throwing something in the air.
Mari, Febbie, and Dyesebel were sitting on the sofa in the living room, talking about their favorite children's show that they still watch, even though they are already teens.
"I can't believe that he calls her 'Just a friend.' Ugh! I just can't believe him." Dyesebel exclaimed.
"Yeah! He's so blind!" Febbie stated.
"What ship do you prefer?" Dyesebel asked.
"Mine is when she's just a normal girl and the boy is a superhero." Mari replied.
"Oh! Mine is the girl and the other boy who treats her better." Febbie said.
"Mine too! He's so handsome. If only he were real." Dyesebel sighed.
"Well, you know what they say, 'Keep on dreaming.'" Mari said.
Just then, another person joined their conversation.
"Oh, I see, we've got a bunch of seven year olds over here. Just great."
"Hello there Nova!" Mari greeted as he just rolled his eyes.
"Well, that's the five year old..." Febbie whispered to her friends and giggled.
Nova heard this and started chasing Febbie. Febbie quickly got up and ran as Nova chased her. Mari and Dyesebel just watched them as they ran around.
"Ayiee! Ship!" Dyesebel whispered to Mari as they both cheered quietly, watching the two run around.
After a while, Max appeared.
"Luckily, there are still no signs of zombies anywhere." he sighed.
Max stopped on his tracks upon noticing the two running around.
"What do you think you two are doing?!" he exclaimed as the two quickly stopped.
As Nova lost his balance from the quick stop, he fell and grabbed on to something to hold, but realized it was Febbie. The two fell on the ground.
"Ayieee!" Dyesebel squealed.
It has been a week since Mari arrived. She became close friends with almost everyone, except the three mean girls. The three had been so harsh on her. They kept calling her names, but she didn't mind them. She just kept providing meals for everyone and cleans the mansion with the others without complaint everyday.
"Yay! Siesta! And yay, because I cannot sleep, so I'll just clean." Mari said as she went to sweep the floor.
While sweeping and humming the tune of her favorite children's show, the three mean girls walked towards her with their hands at their backs. Mari saw them approaching her, so she smiled.
"Oh, hello there, Sophia, Julia, and April." she greeted them with a smile.
"Ugh! Why are you so nice?" Sophia said in disgust.
'Ugh! Why is your attitude so ugly?' Mari thought as she kept smiling.
"We have had the best life." April said.
'Well, that's good to hear, but what does it have to do with me?' Mari kept sweeping the floor, keeping her thoughts to herself.
"But since you got here, everything changed." April continued.
"What are you planning, Miss Goody Two Shoes?"
"First things first, I do not wear shoes when I sweep the floor." Mari replied as she continued to sweep the floor.
