"Hey Mari! Wake up already! Stop dreaming of whatever you are dreaming and wake up! We're going to be late if you won't get up."
A younger sibling wakes her elder sister up that she groans in annoyance. Mari turned her back to the younger one and covered herself with a blanket. The younger sister pulled her blanket and made her flinch with the bright light that was surrounding the room.
"But it's still too early, Rie. And I'm still too sleepy to wake up, so go away." she lazily said, pulling her blanket back to her head.
"Alright! Well, I'm going to tell Mom that you've been sleeping late."
"Fine. Do whatever you want, because I don't care."
Rie finally went but stopped on her tracks when she thought of an idea that will surely make her sister wake up.
"Mariiiii-"
"What do you want?"
"I smell breakfast..."
"And?"
"Is that the smell of rice, eggs, and bacon?"
Mari sat up straight as she heard the words rice, eggs, and bacon. She quickly folded her blankets and stood up quickly, which made her trip and fall to her side.
"Could this day get any worse?" she mumbled, which is not audible enough for Rie to hear.
"Oh! And also, I smell the scent of hot milo."
"MILO! Aaah! Give me some Milo!" she quickly stood up and ran after her sister and stopped as her sister gave her a towel.
"You're going to breakfast without having a bath, aren't you?"
"Ay, okay, okay, geez. Let's just go. I'll take the bigger bathroom while you take the smaller one."
"Hey! That's not fair!" Rie pouted and turned to her side.
"Okay, I'll take the smaller one and-"
"Less talking and start bathing!" she happily ran to the nearest bathroom and closed the door.
"Okay, I'll just go and take a bath. Or maybe hehehe-" Mari grinned evily on what's she's planning to do.
"Hey! I heard that! Don't go and eat breakfast without me, Mari!" Rie shouted from the bathroom.
This was a normal life for Mari. She always had siblings to annoy her and keep her busy. Sometimes, she might even blow her top, but eventually she may calm down in the process and get annoyed again.
"Hey, little bro, what are you going to do in school?" Mari asked her younger sibling.
"I, uh, uhm... I don't know... maybe I'll listen to teacher and play with my friends during recess."
"Aww, you're so cute, Mat!" Rie squealed and pinched his cheek.
"Hey, I'm not cute! I'm already four and I'm a big boy now!" he said while crossing his arms and puffing his cheeks.
"Sshhh, listen to the news." their mom shushed them as they listened.
"Breaking news! Unknown terrorists wreaked havoc on 10 schools across the world-"
Mari's eyebrows slightly furrowed upon hearing the headlines, causing her to shift her attention to the tv before her younger brother patted her arm, so she takes in a deep breath.
"Hey big sis!" Mat shouted.
"Who? Rie or me?" Mari asked with her attention on her younger brother.
"The both of you and Mommy Maria and I want to tell you that I love you all so much!" he shouted again and ran to hug them.
