The elevator doors opened to reveal a dark musty basement. Drew noticed all the steam coming from what appeared to be pipes. He left foot prints on the floor as he continued deeper. Why is there dust on the ground of all places? When was the last time someone came here? Drew took out his phone and turned on the flash light. He shined the light over to what he thought was an empty corner of boxes but saw instead hundreds of cockroaches scramble away. WHAT THE HELL!? Standing on one foot he watched as they crawled up the wall and floor disappeared to small cracks and holes. There was silence for a few seconds until Drew reluctantly walked farther into the basement. That never happened, nope just seeing things haha...God I hate bugs. At least he was no longer bored.

The basement strikingly resembled a set from some horror movie. Dusty, odd smelling, insects crawling everywhere, and just a weird haunted feeling. He noted the air getting heavier as he ventured farther back only to find a door sealed with nailed wooden planks. Shining the light along the back wall there was nothing but this door. It's probably sealed for a reason... eh screw it. Drew pried one of the planks off the door. It fell off easier than he thought. In no time the door was free to be opened. He entered the room shining the light in every direction. It was just an old file room. Desks with dusty computers and dusty chairs. Sighing he picked up some papers off the ground. "Just some information on patients I'm guessing." Drew mumbled. But then his eye caught something interesting. "Dated back in the year...1890?!" He knew the hospital had been around for awhile but he never guessed this old. Geez... Drew then had a sudden urge to leave the basement as soon as possible. Turning around to leave, a figure stood in the doorway. It wasn't too tall but Drew couldn't see any details of the persons face.
