"Why?" he screamed at the girl. She had followed him back behind the burning hospital. He needed to be alone and least of all see her. "Leave me al-" his words were cut short by an intense migraine. Why now of all times? He staggered back against a tree.
"You brought this upon yourself, Drew".
Ugh I don't have time for this... He slowly rose his head to still see that empty expression on the girls face. She had never shown and kind of remorse or even amusement during the accidents. Just standing there. Observing how he reacted. Her eyes still a piercing emerald shade.
"How is any of this my fault?" he cried. "You were the one who is there at the scene! I just stumbled into this! What did I do to cause of this? This is your fault!" He dug his nails harder into his head as the headache continued to get worse.
The girl was quiet for awhile. She just stared right through him. Finally she spoke "Even if I were to be the source of these disasters, how could you change it? As you said, you only arrive to witness when things have gotten out of hand. Too late. I am here because you are here. Are you here because you are drawn to this events? Ask, if these cause you that much pain, why do you still come? At the wrong place at the wrong time does not account for the events...so far."
SO FAR!? That means there will be more of this? The split second his headache seemed to dissipate, Drew choked "How do you know if there will be more or not! You literally just confirmed that you caused-"
She interrupted again. "This conversation is going no where. Just know that if theses events are do horrible, make sure you are not the cause."
He coughed as the girl began to walk away. "Wait,' he spat. 'I just jumped from the 3rd floor. And I'm not dead. I think my ankle may be twisted. But anyway, did you save me at the last minute? I should be dead right now."
