Last Chapter That's Actually The First

That monday was as ordinary as any other monday. Drew woke up at 7:00 like he did last week. He ate breakfast and went through his morning routine as usual. Though today instead of riding a bus going to the same school he was going out of state to visit his grandparents. Drew sat outside his front door waiting for his cousin to arrive. She was to drive them both since his mother was away on a business trip. He sighed wanting the time to pass faster. It was windy and gray outside. The ground was damp from the rain storm the night before. No one else was outside.

What seemed to be hours, his cousin Abby finally arrived. Without a second thought Drew jumped from the porch and sprinted to the passenger car door. Abby laughed as she backed the car out of the driveway. "Someone is excited." Drew just gave a half smile and slouched down in the car seat. "Not really."

At least it will be a little more interesting than staying in this drag town.

So how'd I do? I know the out of order chapters is kinda confusing at times but I hope you guys we're able to understand. This whole story thing was a project I had for a writing class. My friends liked it so I posted it here cause why not.
