Pov Mia
In the meantime we're already in the great hall and eating. Before we went here, we put away our stuff and our owls, which are probably in our bedrooms by now.
Dumbledore just gave his speech and all the first graders were already assigned to their houses.
We got 6 new people at Gryffindor! Dumbledore, as usual, had told us not to enter the Forbidden Forest. He also told us that we got a new teacher this year. His name is Richard Riggs and he's going to teach us about the History of Magic. Apparently Professor Binns doesn't want to teach us anymore. 'So stupid!' Ron says sarcasticly. 'I hope Professor Riggs will make the lessons less boring!'
'Ron! Have some respect!' Hermione says angrily to him.
I'm also secretly relieved that we finally have a new teacher for 'History of Magic' (and Hermione apparently too). Professor Binns' classes had always been boring, and nothing interesting had ever happened.
We're all having a nice meal until Draco interrupts us.
'Hey Potter.' He screams to Harry from the Slytherin table.
Harry turns around and looks angry at Draco.
'What is it Draco?' Harry asks.
'Are you in the Quidditch team again this year?' He asks Harry with a wide grin carved on his face.
'Yes.' Harry says fast and he turns around.
'Ah, then you can prepare for your defeat!' Draco says.
He and his friends laugh, but we don't.
I turn around to face Draco and say angrily: 'Don't talk to us Draco. You don't even have talent! You just bought your spot in the Quidditch team!' I turn back to the table and I continue to eat.
Draco is now angry and you can see.
'You filthy, little mudblood!' he says with an angry face.
I turn around angrily, clench my fists and get up from the wooden bench. I never get this angry, but when someone calls me mudblood, I just explode. Draco and his friends look mockingly at me. Draco, in particular, now has a very wide grin on his face and he also gets up from the wooden bench where he sat on. He steps forward and he is now right in front of my face. I am very angry and he has a big broad grin on his face.
'What are you going to do?' he asks defiantly.
Suddenly everyone in the great hall went completely silent. Everyone is looking at us now. Including the teachers.
Harry grabs my wrist and says, 'Mia, sit down!'.
Draco and I are standing there face to face and I am very angry on him. I look with a dead look in my eye at him before turning around to sit down on the wooden bench again. Draco also turns around and sits down on the wooden bench at the Slytherin table. The noise in the hall comes back and people start eating again.
'Now I'm sure I get in trouble with Dumbledore!' I say annoyed.
'He really is a jerk!' Ron says.
'He really needs to stop being so mean!' Hermione says.
'If he's going to challenge us again, we'll get him back!' Harry says.
'Good idea!' I say and we continue eating. For the rest of the evening we talk about fun stuff and not about Draco.
