It was 20 minutes after sundown, I was done dying my hair and getting ready to meet up with Aiden soon. I went to the mirror to brush my hair and fix my make-up. I headed out, and walked to the park in my neighborhood, I saw Aiden sitting on a bench just staring at the sun. "Aiden!" I screamed from a distance, he turned around and started to smile.

He gave me a hug as if he hasn't seen me in years.

"Hi Lily, thanks for coming..."he said awkwardly. We sat at the bench and stared at the sun, "Lily....I miss you." He said..dramatically. I really didn't know what to say. "Why, I thought you had Madison." I said, avoiding eye contact. "Aiden, I... I'm tired of this...of us, I've chosen to be happy in my life." I said. He looked at me with concern, "I thought, I made you happy."he said, I finally looked him in the eyes and stood up. "You,make me happy? Aiden these last couple of weeks you've bought nothing but sorrow into my life, I mean, I am so lucky for Matt and Amanda."I said angrily, "If you really missed me you wouldn't ignore me you wouldn't shut me out... You wouldn't kiss Madison in front of my house." I started to walk away in tears, "Lily,Lily!!" I could hear him shouting my name but I ignored him, I just walked away and didn't look back, because if my heart break, it was going to hurt so bad, he knew I'm strong but I couldn't take that, so before it's too late, I just walked away.

When I got home I ran upstairs with the tears falling down my face, I lay in my bed with my face planted into my pillow. Thank God, Lisa and Joe wasn't here to hear me cry. My phone started to blow up with messages.

I felt sick, depressed, ugly,invisible,insecure, untouched. I was wrapped up under my sheets. I wasn't gonna let Aiden get in the way of my happiness, especially not when summer is around the corner.
