"Lily! come down here." Lisa shouted. I walked down the stairs gracefully, the kitchen table was filled with cards, gifts and fruit baskets. "We're going, to say hello to the new neighbors, across the road, wanna come with us?" Joe asked. I tagged along to clear my mind.

Joe began to knock on the door, while Lisa and me struggle with all the presents. A lady with black hair opened the door, with a shocked smile. "Um, hello." she said. I tuned the rest of the conversation out. A few minutes a later a (very attractive) boy my age showed up (his name was Aiden), his mom suggested I showed him around, I didn't want to but I had no other choice. We talked for 20 minutes, it was the best 20 minutes of my life. A couple more minutes flew by and it started to get quiet.

"You've been through a lot, I could tell your a very strong independent woman." he said.

"Well, independent, yes, but strong,no" I chuckled. Something felt different with him, for once I wasn't scared to talk about my feelings...

The day after, it was actually a school day, I was already late for first period so I was running to school. As I was passing Aiden's house, I had this "weird" vibe going down my back. I knew inside I liked him but he's really cool and I guess I don't want him to think I'm weird.
