Typical me not watching where I was going, in a flash I was on the cold road with my leg twisted in a way I have never seen. It reminded me of when I was 4 and my parents left me on the floor to rot. I didn't screamed for help or even cry. A couple minutes later my eyes began to closed slowly I didn't know if I was dyeing or not. I blacked out.

I smelled medicine, heard ventilators beep and felt cold. As i woke up and tried to make to make out the faces looking over me, I had a huge headache and pain in my leg. "She's waking up." I heard Lisa yelled. I tried to sit up on the hospital bed, but was too weak. My vision finally got clear, I saw Lisa, Joe and Aiden looking at me, with this worried look.

Joe explained what happened. I felt like a fool, I can't even cross the road properly. Aiden kept staring at me, but i tried not to make too much eye contact. Lisa and Joe went to get some food, the room was so quiet you could hear the machine from the next room beeping. "Why didn't you yell for help?" He asked.

"How do you know if I didn't?" I said without making eye contact. "You were literally out my house, I would've heard you if you did, so why didn't you yell?" He began to get serious. I lied back in my hospital bed and went under my covers signifying that I was "sleepy" He stepped out of the room, I took a last look at him as he left. I covered my head with the sheet, and began to cry, not only did my leg hurt but my heart hurt I felt like I was picked up from a million kilometers and dropped back down.
