CHAPTER ELEVEN

*DEVON'S POV*

Isabelle and I sat there laughing and reading books. We found Captain Underpants books and laughed at the story. The librarian tried to shut us down several times but we won't listen. We would shut up for a minute then go back laughing.

Finally, it all went quiet. And it went awkward.

"You wanna get out of here?"She asked.

"What do you mean?"

"You'll see. Come on." She grabbed my hand then we went out of the library.

"What are we doing here?" I asked her.

"We're going to cut class." She said excitedly.

"WHAT? We can't cross school rules Isabelle." I said, then released my arm from her grip. It startled her, and I can see it in her eyes. But her eyes went shining again.

"Come on, no one will know." She said then winked at me. She started going under the bleachers' seats, and found a little door. She looked at me, and smiled. Her smile was evil, but sexy at the same time. She opened the door, and it revealed the road. We finally got out, and she looked at me while I was looking around.

"How did you know about this path?"

"I'll explain it to you later." She squeezed my arm then started going out of the school property.

We walked a long way out of school. Until we reached her car. Damn. It was a black convertible 429 Mustang.

"That's your car?" I said, while my jaw dropped and my arms were pointing where the car was.

"Yup." She looked at my face. I think she was amazed by the way my face was. "Come on."

I sat on the passengers seat, and watched her get in.

Isabelle is not like any other girls. She likes cars that guys like, not ones that are pink and are cute. She is a badass. She crosses school properties than reading and hanging out with her girlfriends. She is adventurous, not like any other girls who would cut class to go shopping. She also dresses properly, not like any other girls that shows their cleavage and thighs. And lastly, her make up. She just wears powder on her face, and lip balm. Not like the other ones who would put make up on their face like they got banged by crayola. She's perfect and different.

*RIAN'S POV*

I jogged my way to my locker. And saw Eric leaning on my locker. His head was down. He looked like a little kid who lost his pet or something. I went near and cleared my throat to signal that I was there.

He looked at me and he smiled, his eyes twinkled - like a kid who had been given ice cream.

"So, what are we going to talk about? What do you want to know?" I said in a stern voice.

"I'm so sorry." He said. His voice was calm, and a bit shaky. And it made me down. Why was I acting so stern at him? I never knew he was this soft.

"For what?" I looked straightly in his eyes. But he can't. He looked guilty.

"For acting like that in front of you." He paused. "I'm sorry for always staring at you and made you annoyed that you told my uncle."

"Mr. Davis is your-" I said, but he cut me off.

"I'm sorry for always making you so annoyed. I guess I just can't resist how cute you are when you get mad. And I guess you are just so beautiful that I just can't get my eyes off of you. I'm so sorry that you can't focus on your studies just because of me staring at you. And I'm sorry that that's what you think of me. I know you think of me that I am a playboy or a jerk. Well yes I am, but I stopped being someone as disgusting as that since I met you. And I like you Rian, I really do. So I hope you'd like me as I am." He said. Then took a deep breath after his explanation. His words made me melt. I was the one who should be sorry for this.

"I am the one who should be sorry." I said, then looked down.

"No. It's not your fault."

"No. I am so bad for thinking that you are that kind of guy. I guess you are just not any other guys. You are different. You're honest. And I thank you for that." I smiled at him, and he started forming one as well.

"So are we okay now?"

"Of course." I said, then hugged him. I felt safe in his arms. His broad and warm shoulders that wrapped against mine are so melting. I leaned my head in his chest and I felt comfortable. And he smelled good too.

Finally the bell rang. Thank God it took the awkwardness away. We both pulled out of each others arms then laughed.

"So, see you later?" I asked.

"Yeah, see you." He said. Then we both walked in opposite directions.

I guess he isn't that bad at all. I think he is somewhat different.
