The dress was gleaming.

It was low cut and barely reached her mid-thighs. Sophia wore silver strap heels and adorned herself in silver jewels to match the silvers of her dress.

"How do I look?" Ismelda walked out of the bathroom showcasing her skin-tight black leather dress.

"Hot," Both Daphne and Sophia answered at the same time.

Daphne had lent one of her dresses to Ismelda.

"I'll see you three there," Pansy left the dorm without paying much attention to the girls.

The girls paid her no attention either.

"Pair it with these," Sophia picked out a pair of red heels from Ismelda's closet and handed her one of her necklaces from Sophia's jewellery box. "Perfect."

"I'm just about ready to go," Daphne sprayed some perfume on herself. She wore a white lace bralette and a navy skirt topped off with a pair of golden heels.

"Ok," Sophia checked her appearance one last time. Her make up consisted of dark eyeliner and lashes and nudes. She applied some red lip tint before confirming that she looked good. "Shall we go?"

The three girls found the door to the Ravenclaw common room.

"It can't be seen, can't be felt, can't be heard, and can't be smelt. It lies behind stars and under hills, And empty holes it fills. It comes first and follows after, Ends life, and kills laughter," The bronze eagle-shaped door knocker said the riddle. "What is it?"

"I don't know. Let's just knock," Daphne rolled her eyes.

"Is it death?" Ismelda tried to answer.

"No."

Sophia thought for a bit. "Darkness?"

"Correct."

The door opened revealing a very loud party.

The Ravenclaw Common Room consisted of many shades of blue and had patterns of stars and planets. There were bookshelf and ancient statues. It was beautiful.

For the party, the room had been almost transformed by the hyper-changing colours of the LED lights and the smoke spell cast to make the party look more interesting.

There were tables with snacks and larger tables with drinks of all colours.

"Let's get a drink," Daphne pulled on her friend's hands.

Sophia got a blue alcoholic drink and took a sip out of it.

"Daphne!" A male voice came from behind them. "I was wondering when you would come."

It was Blaise. Behind him was Draco. Great.

"Blaise!" Daphne threw her arms around Blaise.

"Hey," Draco jerked his chin in acknowledgment towards Sophia.

"Hey."

Suddenly Sophia needed to have more than a sip of her drink. She found herself going back to the bar and getting a refill.

Draco was on his sixth drink when he bumped into Sophia getting her fifth.

"Having fun?"

Sophia looked up at him and tried not to stare at his face too much. She didn't trust herself with him. Especially not with that drink in her hand.

"I'm kinda bored, actually."

"Same."

The two looked at the crowd dancing on the dance floor in silence for a few seconds before Draco had an idea that he wasn't entirely sure was his own or the drink's.
