Intrigue and mistakes

𝑆𝐼𝑅𝐼𝑈𝑆-

Our holidays came to an end rather quickly, before any of us knew it, we were back on the Hogwarts express returning to the highlands.

Between James, Juliet, and I, we managed to buy a pile full of trolley candy for the ride.
James and I set off dung bombs in random compartments leaving students gasping for air.
Purely out of boredom.

I fell asleep in Juliet's lap while she stroked my hair halfway through the ride, falling victim to yet another sharpie tattoo, this time on my other time that read

"I could get lost in your eyes"

Poetic, I thought.

We reached Hogwarts after a very long snowy night, the train had to stop several times due to ice on the track, the conductor had to melt it magically before we could proceed.
I wish I could remember much from dinner, the only thing that comes to mind was when Regulus threw a potato at my head with perfect accuracy from the Slytherin table.
Everyone was seemingly too tired for a party tonight, it would have to be rescheduled.
Which was a shame, I liked parties.

When morning came, our usual schedule resumed, James waking up and then him waking Peter and I up.

Together we all attempted to wake Remus up which was the biggest challenge in the world.

It was a miracle that we had arrived in the great hall in time, let alone early.
We said good morning to McGonagall which even after 6 years of doing it every morning still seemed to make her feel unsettled.

Juliet emerged later with Lily and I watched while they both sat down a few seats down from me chatting amongst themselves.
I noticed immediately that Juliet was wearing the necklace I gifted her on Christmas, it glittered on her exposed chest like she was waiting for people to see it. That thought made me happy, I didn't own the girl or anything but it made me feel like I was a part of her.
Despite all our purposely slow walking we all made it to potions on time, filing into the room not eager to listen to Professor Slughorns lesson.

When we finally got to the fun part, which was actually making the potion, mine exploded all over my face.

Which left my beautiful hair slightly singed.

𝐽𝑈𝐿𝐼𝐸𝑇-

Sirius's potion had blown up in his face, literally, soot covered his chiseled face, a surprised expression had been plastered there for several minutes at this point
Remus, James, and I all laughed.
Lily was too focused on her potion to care about what we were doing.
After I'd handed in my potion and gained a B+ and everyone except Remus, who had Ancient runes, headed for transfigurations.

James fell asleep halfway through the class.
McGonagall was not impressed one bit.

"MR POTTER!" She had shouted, which shocked every single one of us out of our tired haze.
James woke up calmly, leaning back in his chair

"Hello Minnie, the lesson's over is it?" He had said to her

My whole body tensed when McGonagall's lip quivered, I was surprised James had not been turned into his golden snitch yet.

"Mr Potter! If you fall asleep one more time I will not hesitate to turn you into a frog? Do you hear me?" She told him sternly
