𝐽𝑈𝐿𝐼𝐸𝑇- ( June 1977)

We remember moments, moments that flood back to us in waves and knock us off our feet especially when we're feeling strong.

"Juliet Crescent" a booming voice called, pulling me from my beautiful flashbacks, flashbacks of a silver eyed boy who's face was so vivid in my mind.
Those moments were a year gone, I was graduating. I stood up, receiving a hug from my grandmother and a disapproving glance from Alden Riverend.
When I gripped my diploma in my hand, everything seemed to stop, I turned to the crowd for a fake smile and spotted someone, clapping the loudest was a boy standing in the doorway, the only one wearing full black as if attending a funeral, and the only face I could truly make out.
Sirius Orion Black.
He smirked at me, and I thought I might've imagined him, dizziness set in and I wondered how little I must've eaten to imagine the boy, the boy who didn't look so boyish in this moment, he looked more like a man.
But I didn't care about any of that because I hopped off the stage in my heels and descended into the crowd, pushing people out of the way, where once I neared the doorway, I found him, he was real, he was here and he was leaning against the auditorium door.
"Darling." He greeted

"Dog-star" I muttered under my breath, at a loss for words.

He walked forward slowly, but I flung myself at him.
"W-what are you doing here? You idiot! I've seen the prophet!" I shouted, recalling the subscription that comes in monthly to my home.
"Woah! I thought you'd be happy!" He shouted back
"Well of course I'm happy Sirius, I just...with everything going on, why would you come here?"

"To see you of course"

"I thought I promised you that I'd come back, not the other way around."

"I just couldn't wait." He said.

"That's not it." I muttered. "You just couldn't bare to feel alone"

"I'm never alone, not with James and Remus trailing me, making sure I'm okay, they make it sound like you broke me or something." Sirius joked

Just then, my grandmother appeared out of the crowd. She looked at me happily, but her gaze moved quickly to Sirius, the boy I'd told her so much about, whom she must have been able to recognize by the extensive description I gave her.

"Oh, Sirius, this is my Grandma Ivy."

"Wonderful, old ladies love me."

"Who are you calling old?" She asked irritably, pulling her old wand out.

"Woah woah careful" he panicked, his hands held up in a surrender

She looked him up and down with her eyes narrowed. I wondered how she took Sirius Black, he was after all, rather rugged looking.
His hair was growing out, his black jeans were madly ripped and his leather jacket had at least 5 more pins than I'd remembered.
But he was still the same, more grown up, but still Sirius. My grandmother nodded in approval and went to go harass the poor headmistress.
Before I could catch up with Sirius, a familiar asshat appeared at my side, wrapping his arm around my shoulder
"Is this guy bothering you Juliet" Alden asked, sending a shiver down my spine.

I'd left the likes of the order to visit the girl I'd been missing all year long, every single day I woke up after dreaming of her, and here she was in front of me.
The same girl I'd known, but stronger, and older. I'd longed for her, the year had been torture and I knew if I didn't see her soon I'd probably lose my bloody mind.
But behind her, a tall guy with dark hair and glittering ocean eyes smirked unsettlingly.
I noticed him immediately.
He was her ex, the one from the Polaroid i had found on her bed the very first day I met her.
