Y/n's POV:
You felt a warm light hitting your face; the sun had peaked through the curtains. Groaning, you turned your head on your pillow to face the other way.
Your lids felt heavy, pulling you back to sleep when there was a knock at your door. You ignored the sound and threw your comforter over your head. But the knock occurred again, this time louder.
You pulled yourself out of bed, mumbling curse words under your breath as you walked towards the door. Another knock creaked against the door.
You called out, "I'm coming! Jesus." You felt extremely groggy, but the meds you took last night helped with your nausea. You looked through the peephole before running a hand through your hair and unlocking the door.
It was cracked open just enough to peek your head through, "Yes?"
"Wow, not even a 'hi penny!' or 'hi em! What are you two amazing and lovely best friends doing here at such an hour?'" Penelope and Emily stood in front of you, both wearing sunglasses and comfy clothes.
Emily added, "You look like hell."
You chuckled, "So do you guys, and I feel like hell." Opening the door wider, you stepped aside to let them in.
You shut the door and they winced, "Shh! You don't have to be so aggressive."
"It wasn't even that loud, but I'm sorry." You whispered.
They settled themselves onto your couch, and you sat across from them in your sofa chair wrapping your throw blanket around you.
"Looks like you kept up your promise about drinking on my behalf last night Penny--" Your eyes drifted to Emily in the same state as Penelope, "and I guess you joined in too Em?" You smiled and they both laughed quietly.
Emily responded, "Oh you could say that."
You curled up in the chair to rest your head on the armrest. "Nevermind us though, how are you feeling?"
"I'm feeling a little better, my head still hurts; the meds are definitely helping though."
"I'm sorry, peaches." Penelope said before Emily spoke. "That's good that you feel a little bit better though. Were you asleep when we got here?"
You yawned, "Um yeah? It's early." Emily and Penelope looked at each other with wide eyes. "What?" you asked.
Penelope stifled a laugh, "Y/n, it's winter."
You furrowed your brows, "Yeah, and?"
"If it was that early the sun wouldn't be out, hun. What time do you think it is?" They questioned, laughing.
"What do you mean?" You got up from the sofa and went into your bedroom to grab your phone from your nightstand. Picking it up you turned it on and gasped at the time.
1:14pm
"Oh my god. It's already one?!" You shouted from your room, them laughing in return. You walked back into the living room, continuing to read all of your missed notifications.
7:53am Aaron Hotchner: Hope you feel better Y/n. I'll let you know if we get called in. -AH
10:27am Spencer Reid: Good morning :) How's your head? Are the meds helping?
