After arriving home late last night, and after a long dinner. I spent an hour putting little sarah to sleep because of course cameron decided to not turn on the lights and tripped on something nash left on the floor. The loud noise that was created by his fall immediately had been followed by a babies cry and Nash groaning up in his room.

"Good morning." I say, groggily to Nash. I take the baby bottle that he prepared off of the counter, shake it, test the heat on my wrist, then give it to Sarah. She quietly sucks on it, approvingly.

"Morning." He replies. He puts down his phone and looks me dead in the eye. "I want a dog." He dead-pans. I almost laugh out loud.

I shake my head. "No, we have a baby." I say.

"Please." He begs like a child. I shake my head again.

"No." I repeat myself. There is no way we are getting a dog. Let alone any pets.

"Then can you help me with something else?" He asks. I nod.

"What is it?" I ask.

"I need you to help me get ready for a date." He says. My face lights up.

"Of course! Casual? Fancy? What's her name? How'd you meet her? Is she pretty?" I spam him with the questions.

"I think it's sort of casual sort of fancy. Her names Rachel. We met at an acting class and she's one of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen." He gushes. A smile creeps across my face. He's in love. He's growing up.

"We'll do that later." I decide. I feel a pair of arms wrap around me and a lips on my cheek.

"Do what?" Cameron says, sitting beside me.

"Help him get ready for a date." I explain. Cameron wiggles his eyebrows at Nash. Cam eats and then once he's done cleans his dish.

"Are you going to eat?" He asks.

I shake my head. "No."

"Yes you are." He commands me. He bends down and gently takes the sleeping baby from my arms. He cradles her in his strong arms and smiles down at her. She remains in her slumber. I kiss his cheek as i sneak myself to my phone. I snap a picture or two or three of them.

"We made a beautiful girl, didn't we?" I say. He nods without removing his gaze from her.

~•~ hours later ~•~

I fix Nash's tie before look up at his bright blue eyes. Some how this girl has brought the color back to these eyes. I am so happy he found a girl. She better treat him well.

Nash is dressed in a white button up and dark jeans with his vans. He decided on fancy too and less fancy bottom. I spiked his hair nicely as he had had it cut recently. He looked nice.

"Thank you Alia." He coos and pulls me in for a hug. I bury my face in his chest that smells of cologne. It was my favorite of Cameron's colognes and I wanted Nash to wear it. So he did.

"No problem. I reply as we break the hug." Though he is younger than me I still have to look up to meet his eyes. He's taller than me. He's growing up too fast. "Nash?" I say.

"Hm?" He hums. I sigh and look at my feet. I then look up at him again.

"Don't grow up. Please. Not this quick. Promise?" I plead. He kisses the top of my head just as the doorbell rings.

"I promise."
