Two days later, Skylar is following Dean down the hallways of the hospital, her uncle and cousin behind her. The four are let into a room and Skylar sits in the bed, allowing the nurse to take her vitals.

"Doctor Taylor will be in shortly." The older woman says before leaving. Skylar turns her mother's engagement ring over and over on her finger anxiously for a few minutes before she begins fiddling with her father's amulet around her neck.

"Would you stop that?" Grayson asks, looking up at her from his spot on the couch. "You're driving me nuts!"

"Short drive." Skylar says with a smirk. Grayson rolls his eyes and grabs the pillow from behind him, throwing it at her. "Hey!" She throws the pillow back at him, hitting him in the face. He starts to throw it back but Sam grabs it and puts it between him and the arm of the couch.

"Can you two act your age for five minutes?" He asks, looking between the two.

"I can. I don't know about him." Skylar says just before there's a knock on the door and Doctor Taylor enters, smiling at the girl in the bed.

"Skylar, it's nice to see you awake this time." She says. Skylar gives her a small smile as the doctor pulls the rolling stool up to the bed, grabbing the girl's chart and sitting down. "So, I hear that you've been experiencing more symptoms of your tumor." Skylar nods.

"She has migraines almost every day. And she had two seizures within twenty-four hours of each other." Dean informs the doctor from his seat beside the bed. "She had one the other day but she just stared at the wall. She wasn't jerking or anything. She was just in some sort of trance." Doctor Taylor nods, writing the information down.

"Skylar, do you have a migraine right now?" Skylar nods slowly, surprising Dean. She hadn't mentioned anything to him. "Okay. On a scale of one to ten, how bad is your pain?"

"Seven and a half." She says quietly after a moment.

"Okay. Now, when your dad called the other day, I gave him a list of symptoms you might experience." She says. "Did he share those with you?" Skylar nods.

"Fatigue, confusion, forgetfulness, loss of sight, slurred speech, dizziness." She lists. "I haven't had any of those except fatigue. Other than that it's just the seizures and the migraines." Doctor Taylor nods.

"And have you been taking the medication I prescribed?" Skylar nods. "Everyday, twice a day?" Skylar nods again.

"Uh, I had to stop for a little while but I started taking them again not too long ago. They helped for a little while but then the seizures came back and the medicine hasn't seemed to help." Doctor Taylor nods again, jotting the information down in the chart.

"Alright. I'm just gonna do a quick exam and then we'll get you to CT as soon as there's a spot available." Skylar nods and the doctor stands, setting her chart on the side of the bed and pulling out her penlight, checking the reactiveness of her pupils before sitting back down on the stool with a smile.

"Okay." She says, looking to Dean. "Pupillary response is great. From what I can see just from the exam, there's nothing to worry about. But I would still like to get a CT just based off of her pain levels and the frequency of the seizures and migraines." Dean nods. Doctor Taylor looks between the two with her usually cheery smile. "Alright. I will go reserve a slot in CT and I will come back to get you as soon as it's available."

"Thanks, Doc." Doctor Taylor nods at Dean with a smile. Dean sighs and looks at Skylar. "Why didn't you say anything about the migraine?" Skylar shrugs, pulling at the sleeves of her sweatshirt.

"It's not as bad as it normally is." She says quietly, looking down at her fingers before shrugging slightly. "I figured if I ignored it, maybe it would go away. Like 'out of sight, out of mind', ya know?" Dean sighs again, running his hand down his face.
