I step out of the car when we reach the Morton House. I slip my largest knife in it's sheath attached to my leather pants. I stick several throwing knives in my combat boots and stick one pistol in my waistband and another in its holster that I had wrapped around my thigh. I grab a shotgun from the trunk, checking to make sure it's filled with rock salt. I look up, meeting the questioning gazes of Sam and Dean. I shrug.
"What?" I ask. "You can never be too prepared." They shake their heads and Dean closes the trunk, the three of us walking up to the house. I see lights moving and voices coming from inside and stop, catching the guys' attention. "I think we've company." We continue to walk to the house, entering the house quietly, our flashlights on. We see two guys in the foyer.
"Freeze! police officers! Don't move!" I yell, saying the first thing that comes to mind, even though I don't look quite old enough to be a cop.
"All right. All right. All right. Take it easy, take it easy." Sam tells the guys.
"Let's see some identification." Dean instructs.
"Come on. Let's see some i.d.!" I yell when they don't move. This makes them jump and one of them pulls out their wallet, handing it to me. I open it and swipe 50 bucks from it, going unnoticed by him as he and his friend start questioning Sam and Dean. I stuff the cash in the strap of my tank top and pull out the guy's driver's license.
"Want to explain that weirdo outfit, Mr., uh, Corbett?" I ask, reading the name off the license.
"I know you." The other guy says suddenly to Dean.
"Yeah, sure you do." He says sarcastically. "Give me some identification." I hand Corbett's wallet back to him.
"Yeah, ho-- whoa, hold on a second." The other guys says, pointing to Sam and Dean. "I know the both of you guys. Yeah." I glance at Sam and Dean to see both of their confused expressions.
"What?" Corbett asks his partner.
"Yeah, huh." He says as Sam curses, finally realizing who they were.
"What?" Dean asks, looking at his brother.
"Uh, West Texas... the... the tulpa we had to take out. Those two goofballs that almost got us killed... The hellhounds or something?" Sam says. By the look on Dean's face, I can tell he doesn't like who these guys are at all.
"[Bleep] me." He says with a deadpan expression.
"Yeah, we're not hellhounds anymore, okay? It didn't test that well." The second guy says.
"Ed, what's going on?" Corbett asks the man.
"They're not cops, buddy -- no, not at all." Ed tells him before turning to me. "I don't know who you are. But you are hot." I see Dean start to take a step forward but I stop him.
"I'm fourteen creep." I tell him, making him step back, his facing morphing into one of disgust. I can see why he'd get confused. I'm tall for my age, getting my height from Dean. I'm not as tall as him but I'm taller than most people at my age, coming close to 5'6" and I was a little bit more developed, making me look to be around 17 or 18. "And his daughter." I add, gesturing to Dean. I see Ed gulp nervously making me smirk.
"Ed, Ed, you had a partner, too, didn't you -- A different guy?" Dean questions.
"Oh, yeah, yeah." He says, regaining his composure slightly.
"Is he around here somewhere?" Dean asks.
"He's running around, chasing ghosts." Ed says vaguely.
"Okay, well, listen, you and Rambo need to get your girlfriends and get out of here." Dean instructs.
"All right. Listen here, chisel chest, okay?" Ed says, making me raise my eyebrows in shock at the new found nerve of the nerd. I could probably take him down with minimal effort so I don't know why he was suddenly acting like he could take on Dean. "We were here first. We've already set up base camp. We beat you." I roll my eyes at his childishness.
