Chapter Two

"Sorry class!I'm a bit late.The Principal called for me a while a go.",their Professor said apologetically.
"By the way,you have a new classmate.He just transferred yesterday.Come in,Mr.Tanapon." The Prof telling the guy to come inside the class.

"Good day,everyone!I'm Perth Tanapon.A transferee.Hoping we can all get along well.",greeted the newcomer.

"Okay you may take your seat now Mr.Tanapon.Ahh..Mr.Suppapong there's a vacant seat on your right let Mr.Tanapon sit there.",then he pointed to Perth where the vacant seat is.

After a while....

"Umm.Hi!I'm Saint!",since the guy sitting beside him is a new student,Saint thought it is only right to approach him first since he doesn't know anyone from their class.

"Huh?",a startled Perth mumbled.

"I said,I'm Saint." Then Saint stretch his hand to Perth signalling for a hand-shake.

Perth just stared at Saint's hand while his brows furrowed.Saint suddenly felt embarassed.And withdrew his extended hand and said,"Oh!Never mind!"

After that,he never bother to gave even a single glance to the new student.

3rd PERSON POV

"Saint over here!",Niran a friend of Saint since his first year in college.

"Hey!Buddy,what's up?It's been awhile." Saint tap his friend's shoulder.

"I should be the one asking you that.I haven't seen you for a while.Still taking care of your Mom?",asked Niran.

"Yeah.And you know how hard things are for me and Preeda these days.Really needed to find a job,buddy.By the way,if you happen to know an opening just let me know right away okay.Our family's saving is about to go empty and Mom is still in the hospital.",sadness suddenly overshadowing Saint's voice.

"I understand you,buddy.Okay,I'll ask my friends if  they know one.I'll call you by then.But for now,cheer up buddy!You can get through this.",Niran giving his friend some courage.

AT THE PARKING LOT...............

Saint was about to meet Mina here.He told her at lunch that he's going to give her a ride home.

While he's a few meters away from his car,he already spotted Mina.As he was approaching her suddenly,he stop on his track.Mina was talking to a guy.So Saint hurriedly went over to them.

"Mina you're already here.",Saint said while frowning.

"Oh Saint!Yes,I was a bit early.Ahmm..I accidentally meet a friend from way back.He happens to be studying here.Saint meet...",Mina wasn't able to finish what she was about to say because the other guy turn around.And then...

"You!",the two men exclaimed at the same time.

"Do you know each other?",Mina ask confused.

"Yes!/No!",both answered again at the same time.

"You two are so synchronized!Ha!Ha!Ha!",Mina can't help but laugh at them.While the two men suddenly get awkward.

"Sorry,my bad!So you know each other?",Mina ask again afterwards.

"Yes!He is in one of my class.A transferee.",Saint spoke first.

"Oh,I see!I assume you already know each other's name.Saint,Perth here used to be my neighbor but they transferred to another place so we didn't see each other for a long time.And I was surprised to bump into him here today.",explained Mina.

"Mina,I better get going.I have many things to do.You see I still have to catch up with my lessons since I'm a transferee.Catch up with you some other time.Glad to see you again.Bye.",Perth said all of a sudden and abruptly leave the two.

"See you later then.Bye!",Mina then told Saint that they should also need to get going.

Saint wanted to tell Mina about his weird feeling about Perth.He felt like the other guy is avoiding him for an unknown reason.But he decided to talk about it some other time.He just want to enjoy this moment with her.

After a few minutes of driving,Saint was interrupted by a phone call.When he look at who's calling,it was his sister Preeda.He immediately answer it.

"Khap,Pree."

"Phi Saint,can you come here in the hospital right now.Dr.Bun wants to see you.He said it's urgent.Mom just had another seizure attack.",Pree said in a hurried tone.

"Okay!I will be there.",is all Saint could mutter while his hand holding the phone is trembling.

Luckily,the traffic is on a red light.The car is in a full stop.Otherwise,Saint doesn't know what might have happen.
