MY DRAG QUEEN

Chapter Seven

"Saint,we're still okay right?",Mina ask all of a sudden while they are having lunch.

"What do you mean by that?",a baffled Saint ask.He really doesn't know what Mina is trying to imply by her question.

"I mean..our..relationship.",Mina stuttered,unsure of where this conversation is leading to.

"What about our relationship?",Saint still doesn't have any clue.

"Lately,you seem too preoccupied.Whenever I ask you if we can spend some time together,you always say you have work.And if  you have a day's off  you're still busy.Either you're in the hospital or helping in the noodle house.Be honest with me.Is there somebody else?"

"What?!No!..No!There's no one else,Mina.It's the truth.I'm just loaded with work.I told you that I still need to settle the remaining balance for my Mom's operation.It's been a month,and she's showing so much progress.I thanked Dr.Bun for that.Also,I'm thankful that my new job is paying me well."

Then he cup his girlfriend's face.

"I'm sorry if I don't have much time for us.I'm sorry if I made you feel like I'm neglecting you.I'm sorry for making you feel this way.But,you know how much I love you,right?I promise to make it up with you.And there's really no one else but you.Please be patient with me more.Na?Na?Na?"

Saint giving his puppy-like pleading look at his girlfriend.(A/N: Oh my God!I wouldn't stand that look,i swear!)

"Okay,I understand.And I'm sorry for demanding too much from you.I should be the first one to have understand your situation.But,I acted like a selfish girlfriend.I..I..just missed you.I miss you so much."

To Saint's surprise,Mina suddenly came closer.Their face are only inches apart.And...

"👀"

Mina kissed him!

Saint was taken off-guard.He never expected this to happen.He just dreamt of  this before and now it's actually happening.But,why does he feel strange?He should be feeling ecstatic,right?His heart should do a double backflip!His breath should be heavy.This is what people say when they had their first kiss.

Saint suddenly pull himself away.Too overwhelmed with what just happened.

"Ah..I'm..Ah..I'm sorry,I don't..",Saint wanted to tell Mina how inexperienced he was.The reason for his sudden action.

"No!I'm sorry!I was..was just..carried away.I..I think..we should go back to our classes.I remember I have to review for Stats."

Mina walk ahead of Saint.Trying to overcome the embarassment she felt.Saint,then followed behind,not knowing what to say after that "kiss".

Another tiring night of show.Saint already clad in ripped,skinny jeans and printed black shirt is waiting for Mean and Plan at his dressing room.They plan on having a few drinks at Mean's place to cap the week off.

Knock!Knock!

Saint hurriedly went to the door thinking it was his friends.
