Chapter 4: The Sleepover (part 1)

(Y/N)'s POV
"Well. This just turned awkward." Jay chimed in, hoping to break the awkward silence. "Ya think?" I said, clearly annoyed at both Jay and Master Wu. I have so many questions right now. Like, how on earth did Master Wu know my parents, why didn't they tell me and Nino that there are other Elemental Masters, why didn't my mom and dad bother to train me and Nino theirselves, and why didn't they tell us that we had a godfather. Well, I guess I can ask them when I get home tomorrow.

"So. Are we having a sleepover or not, cause guess what I brought?" I said, but ended up saying that last part in a song like voice.

"What did you bring (Y/N)?" I heard Zane ask, and it sort of sounded like he was using a very monotone voice. Not gonna lie, it kinda scared me.

"Did you bring cake?!" Cole asked, clearly excited about what I brought for our sleepover.

"Nope. Even better." I said, not realizing that Cole was now sulking in the corner of the room, kinda like Tamaki Suoh from Ouran Highschool Host Club. Who knew that Cole really liked cake.

"Jumanji?" Jay asked. How does he know what Jumanji is? Meh. Whatever.

"Nope. Even better, although I wish I brought it over tonight. Maybe next time." How did Jay know that I have the Jumanji board game?

"We give up. What did you bring? Lloyd confessed. I figured that the others would eventually give up.

"A karaoke machine! There's even songs by The Fold on here." I said. Man. I thought that the guys would definitely guess what I brought. Oh well. It was fun while it lasted. "And don't worry Cole. You and I can make a cake later, ok?"

"Yay!" Cole squealed. Well, looks like he's happy.

"Awesome! Who wants to go first?!" Kai said. Well, guess I know to bring my portable karaoke machine to the monastery for sleepovers from now on.

"I think (Y/N) should go first. She is the one who provided the entertainment for tonight." Zane said.

"Uh... r-really? I-I don't know." I think that everyone in the room could tell that I was nervous about singing in front of them. "O-ok. I-I guess."

After we all walked into the living room, I set up the karaoke machine, with a little help from Jay and Zane. After the 3 of us were done, Nya turned on the TV so that everyone could see the lyrics to the songs that we were singing. I eventually chose to sing Stuck Like Glue by Sugarland.
