It was Friday, the day before my birthday, and I woke up to Cole singing Halfway There by Big Time Rush. So I got out of bed and started walking towards his and Jay's room.

If we never flew

You just don't get what you want

"Morning babe. Nice song choice," I greeted once the song was over. How he knew that I loved Big Time Rush I will never know. "Sorry if I scared you."

"Oh. (C/n/n), good morning. No, it's fine. So, when do you want to head out for our date?" Cole asked. "I have all sorts of fun stuff planned for today."

"Oh. Cool. And, I was thinking that we could head out after lunch or something, I really don't mind." I answered. "If you have someplace special you want to take me for dinner, I'll need to know. But I do know that there's this little place outside of the city with the perfect view and it's the perfect place for star gazing."

"Well, I don't really have anywhere fancey planned for dinner. I was just going to pack a picnic for us, so if you want to dress up or not, that's totally up to you. And, I would love to go star gazing," Cole responded. "I even have something special planned for tomorrow."

"Well, if it's special then it must be a surprise," I replied.

"You catch on quick," Cole exclaimed.

"Well, you're the one who decided to take me out on a date before my birthday. That, and I knw when you're up to something," I responded.
