Cole's POV After (Y/N) fell asleep on my shoulder, I heard the guys arguing about what to do next.
"Hey. Why's everyone so loud? (Y/N)'s trying to sleep. Anyways, what are you all arguing about, and why is Jay holding up a camera?" I asked, genuinely confused and scared about why Jay was holding a camera and why everyone was arguing. Then, out of the corner of my eye, I saw Jay quickly hide the camera behind his back.
"Camera? What camera? I don't have a camera! I certainly wasn't taking pictures of you and (Y/N), if that's what you're asking!" Jay said, sounding very scared about what I would do to him if he took my picture.
"Uh huh. Anyway. Why are you guys arguing with each other? Is it about what to do next?" I asked, not taking my eyes off of Jay, who was still hiding his camera behind his back. Then all of a sudden, I felt something move on my shoulder. It was (Y/N) waking up, probably from all of the arguing and camera clicking.
(Y/N)'s POV As soon as I heard arguing and camera clicking, I woke up. Apparently I fell asleep on Cole's shoulder.
"Hm. Why is everyone arguing? And why is Jay hiding a camera behind his back?" I asked, now rubbing my eyes to help wake me up. And as soon as I'd asked why Jay was hiding a camera behind his back, he ran out of the room trying to hid the fact that he was taking pictures of me and Cole. Some benefits of having shadow elemental powers is that I can see what others are doing when I'm asleep, but I can only see what my friends and family are doing, so I already knew that Jay was taking pictures of me and Cole.
"Oh, and Jay? When I'm asleep, my shadow powers allow me to see what my friends and family are doing. So I know that you were taking pictures of me and Cole while I was asleep. Don't try and deny it." I said, feeling like the others should know about what my shadow powers let me do. And as soon as I was done talking, Cole got up from the couch and started chasing Jay around the monastery. Note to self: never get on Cole's bad side.
"CuRsE yOu (Y/n)! AHHH! NYA! HELP ME!" Jay yelled, and from the sound of it, he was scared of Cole whenever he got mad.
"Nope. You're on your own Jay. You did this to yourself." Nya said. (Finally! Someonewho knows the importance of asking permission before doing something. Someone in my art class during my freshman year video taped me and my sister fighting without our permission and her brother posted it on Tik Tok and I got an in-school suspension because of the damn video.)
I could hear Jay screaming from the kitchen as Cole chased him all over the monastery. Who knew that Cole could get so mad at his friends.
"Well. That escalated quickly. Anyways, what were you guys planning on doing next? I was thinking of doing some girls vs boys capture the ninja mask, and that the girls could use mine ot Nya's and the boys could use Cole's or Jay's. How about it?" I asked. (I put in the boys vs girls capture the flag because my gym teachers NEVER let us do boys vs girls during battle ball games.) I was really hoping that we could even get some sparring in for the night before we had to go to bed.
"Hm. Not a bad idea (Y/N)." Kai said.
"I do not see the harm in doing a boys vs girls capture the flag game." Zane said, in a strange monotone voice.
"I'm game." Skylor said.
"That sounds like fun." Pixal said.
"I'm down. But know this (Y/N). You girls are going down." Lloyd said. Of course. What would I expect from him. Come to think of it, he sounded like a 12 year old when he said that. Meh.
"Hey Jay! Cole! Wanna do a girls vs boys capture the flag with me and the others?!" I yelled from the living room, knowing very well that Cole was still chasing Jay all over the monastery.
"Sure! Why Not!" Cole yelled, not bothering to even stop chasing Jay. PrObAbLy shouldn't of told everyone that I can see what my friends and family are doing when I'm asleep. Meh. Whatever. C'est la vie la vie.
"Sure! If it'll get Cole to stop chasing me!" Jay screamed, still scared to death of Cole.
"Jay! It's boys vs girls! Cole's gonna be on the same team as you!" I yelled back to Jay. I then turned back to the others, who were waiting to get started. "And we're gonna be using one of our ninja masks as the flags. Which girl and boy wants to volunteer their mask as the flag? And none of us wants to do it, I'll do it for the girls and pick a guy to use their mask. Ok?"
No one said anything about wanting to use their mask for their team's flag, so like I said, I was gonna use my mask for the girls and pick a guy to use their mask for the guys, but before I could pick a guy, Jay came running into the living room and hid behind me, trying to avoid Cole's wrath. (The next chapter will be the actual capture the flag game. Sorry.) I then saw Cole running into the living room, then running into me knocking me over and falling on my ass with Cole on top of me.
"Um, Cole? You're crushing me." I said as I pushed him off of me, with literally everyone staring at us. Luckily, I had the same temper as a bull during a matador fight. "Anyone who doesn't wanna die, I suggest getting ready for the game. As for you Cole and Jay, you're coming with me." and as soon as I said that, everyone except for Jay and Cole was running to their rooms to get ready.
"Ok Cole. What the hell was all that 'chasing Jay around the monastery' crap? What's the big deal? So what if Jay took our pictures. That gives you now right to chase him all over the monastery. And Jay. Why were you taking our pictures in the first place? I fell asleep on Cole's shoulder on accident. That doesn't give you the right to take our picture without our permission. Now. Both of you apologize to each other!" I don't think I've ever been that mad at someone in my entire life. After the 2 idiots apologized to each other, I told Jay that we were using his mask as the guys' flag for the game.
"Now both of you go get ready. And no weapons! I'm gonna tell the others the same thing before the game starts. We're only allowed to use our elemental powers. And if I see any of the others with weapons, I'm telling them to put them in their rooms an we won't start until they all get back. Got that?" I said, still a little pissed off at the 2 idiots.
"Yes (Y/N)." they both said at the same time.
"Good." I said.
