Me, Johnny and Dally left the Curtis house. As I was leaving pony kissed me on the cheek. We walked home and me and Johnny walked behind dally to talk. Dally didn't mind. He was too busy smoking.

Johnny- are you and Pony gonna date?
You- maybe.
Johnny- you should! I'll talk to him about it tomorrow.
You- haha, ok.
Dally- watcha talking about kiddos?
Johnny- nothin😏.
Dally- hm.

We got inside and got ready for bed.

In the middle of the night we woke up to loud banging on the door. A loud booming voice shouted: "Dallas Winston! Get out here now!"
I recognized that voice. It was Tim Shepard. He's one of Dally's friends but Dally can be a pain when he's drunk or high so he does some shit.

Tim- you slashed my tires Winston!

Dally looked at me and Johnny.

Dally- stay here ok? Don't let them see you. Hide under the blankets. I love you guys ok.
You- will you be ok dally?
Dally- I hope so.

Me and Johnny pulled the covers over us and dally walked out the door. We heard a bunch of yelling and punching. I wanted to go out there and help Dally so bad but I knew I couldn't. After about 5 minutes it got silent. Johnny and I were both shaking in fear. We got out from the covers and opened the door. Dally was laying up against the wall with blood pouring down his mouth. He had bruises everywhere. And he was unconscious. I told Johnny to call the Curtis bothers. I tried to wake Dally.

You- Dally? Wake up Dally! Please wake up!

I felt his pulse and it was a good thing I felt it. I sighed in relief and Johnny rushed out saying the boys are on their way. I held Dally's hand and wiped the blood from his mouth with my hands since I was only wearing sweat pants and a sports bra. We heard the boys running bc to us.

Darry- what happened?
You- T-Tim Shepard was banging on the door calling for dally saying he slashed his tires.
Johnny- dally told us to hide and then he went outside.
Sodapop- oh poor Dally. Let's get him to the hospital ASAP.

Soda and Darry carried Dally to their car. I sat in the back with pony and Johnny. Dally was with Darry and soda in the front. Darry was practically speeding. We got to the hospital and they told me, Johnny and pony to wait in the waiting room. Pony took off his sweatshirt and put it over my shoulders. I just looked at him and cried into his chest.

Ponyboy- it's ok y/n.
Johnny- dally should be ok. The worst could be Brocken bones.
You- I hope he's gonna be ok.

It's been an hour since we brought Dally in. I was asleep lying on Pony. Pony was also asleep. Johnny fell asleep resting his head on my lap. Soda and Darry came over to us but decided not to wake us. They sat down on a superset mini couch.

In the morning a nurse woke up soda and Darry first. Then once the nurse left the boys woke us up.

Darry- hey the nurse said you 3 can go see Dally if y'all want.
You- ok great.

The 3 of us walked down the hall to Dally's room. We opened the door and he was lying there trying to reach for his cigarettes. We walked over and I put the cigarettes in my pocket.

You- they said not to smoke Dal😂.
Dally- haha, I don't listen to those damn nurses.
Johnny- how ya feeling Dal?
Dally- pretty good actually. They said I have a concussion, 2 broken ribs and my right shoulder was dislocated.
Ponyboy- you in any pain Dally?
Dally- not really. The nurse keeps trying to give me drugs though. Probably trying to seduce me. I refused to take her drugs but she opened my mouth and shoved them in my mouth.
You- dally she's giving you pain killers😂.
Dally- ah so that's what they were.
You- so when can we take you home?
Dally- the doctor said in 3 days. But fuck it. Let's go now.
Johnny- you sure?
Dally- yeah I can't stand this place.

Dally got out of his bed and we handed him a change of clothes. He put them on and we went to see soda and Darry.

Darry- they let you go early?
Dally- yeah something like that.

We laughed and Darry drove us back to our motel. We all hung out there for a bit. Me and Johnny had to wash off the blood from our clothes and skin. So we all basically took showers. Dally got a bed to himself and he watched tv. After me and pony showers we sat on the bed next to Dally's. Johnny came and sat with us too.

Dally- hey kids, here's some money, go across the street and get some ice cream sandwiches.
You- ok.

The 3 of us left. We had to walk over to the little man with the trolley. Me and Johnny know him, his name is Ricardo.

Ricardo- y/n! Johnny! So great to see you again! Who's this?
You- this is Ponyboy Curtis.
Ponyboy- hello.
Ricardo- nice to meet you! Johnny is this      y/n's boyfriend eh? They make a good couple.
Johnny- haha!
You- haha. Can we get 6 ice cream sandwiches please.
Ricardo- for sure. This is on the house today.
Johnny- thank you so much Ricky.
Ricardo- my pleasure. See you guys next time!
You- bye!

We walked back to the motel and gave dally his money back and gave everyone and ice cream sandwich.

Dally- how is Ricardo doing?
You- he's good.
Johnny- he asked if pony was y/n's boyfriend and said they make a good couple😂.
Sodapop- haha!
Dally- I see.

We all laughed and ate our ice cream sandwiches.
