Chapter 10

Jayda and I pulled up at the mall. I texted everybody to meet us at the food court. I see Chris, Trey, and Jughead were waiting on us.

"Hey Juggie" I said smiling because I know he doesn't like it when I say that. "Really V" he said having the funniest look on his face. Jayda spoke to him and I hugged him. Jughead is really like a brother to me.

"Hey Trey" I said while hugging him. "Hey baby" I said walking towards Chris to hug him but he pulled me into a kiss and we started kissing passionately. He was exploring my mouth with his tongue. I bite his lip and we continue until Jayda said something.

"Ok stop eating my friend Chris" Jayda said. I pull back and laughed. I reached up and wiped my lip gloss off his lips. He threw his arm around me.

"Hey Jayda" Trey said looking at her. She responded dryly with a hey. It look like he was hurt that she didn't even look up from her phone. I hate all of that stuff happened. I just met Jayda but I truly want her to be happy. They would have made a cute couple too.

Cheryl, Toni, and Betty walked in. I hugged all of them. It has been a minute since I have hung out with Betty. I feel like she has replaced me. We use to be close best friends like Toni and Cheryl.

Jughead walked over to Toni and kissed her. I looked up and seen Archie and Evelyn walk in. See this is the shit that pisses me off. If I plan something and you know that I don't fuck with her, why is she still getting an invite?

"Oh hell no, who invited her because this is the second time this has happened?" I asked. Archie and Betty both said they did. I'm not gonna lie, it hurt when Betty said that she did. I knew we were growing apart but damn. I started shaking my head and Archie decided to talk again.

"I didn't think it would be a big deal Ronnie" he said. "You didn't think it would be a big deal? Archie when you and Reggie were mad at each other you didn't even want me to talk to him. Now you have seen me and Evelyn fight but you thought that I would be cool with her around."

" I'm sorry Ronnie, you're right" Archie said but I was too upset. "What in the hell is wrong with you ? I am about to stop inviting you Archie since you want to bring a plus one all the time. If it's your event , then I expect to see her but not if I plan it. Keep her away from me because if she run her mouth, I'm gonna run these hands." I said to him.

"Oh I didn't forget about you. Betty you're suppose to be my best friend . When I first came here you were my first friend and I have always treasured our friendship but I guess it was one sided. I loved you like a sister and you threw it all away for her. You don't even talk to me anymore. I just can't believe it." I said about to walk away.

"No V our friendship has always been true. You have helped me through so much. I would've never been on the cheerleading team if it wasn't for you. V you're irreplaceable. I love you like sister V. It will always be V & B." she said dropping a tear. 

"I have to go. I can't right now." I said walking off. I walked off to good little ways until Chris caught up till me. Damn I didn't want to cry but as soon as I looked him in the eye, they just started coming out. He walked me into the family bathroom area and just hugged me.

"You want to talk about it?" he asked. "It hurts, she was the first person I trusted." I said trying to help him understand. "I hate you're seeing me cry" I said with a bitter laugh.

"Hey  don't do that baby girl. I want to be the person you come to when you're sad, hurt, angry, excited, happy, and any other emotions. I want my shoulder to be the one that you cry on." he said looking me in the eye.

"You don't think I'm weak?" I asked. "No baby, not at all. Your ex boyfriend did you wrong while you were dating and after. Even some of your friends and you are still here standing strong. You told them off and let them know how you felt . You're not weak at all baby. You're strong." he told me.

Damn I love him so much. "Kiss me Christian." I told him. He bend down and connected our lips. It started off gentle and sweet until I ran my fingers through his hair and he groaned. He reached down and grabbed my ass and squeeze it.

He picked me up and I wrapped my legs around him. He took the lead and started exploring my mouth with his tongue. He moved down and started kissing my neck. We heard a knock on the door.

I opened it to walk out and seen Jayda. "You ok?" she asked. " Yeah I am. I hate that your first day in Riverdale is starting off like this." I told her. "Oh no, it's fine. This is a mysterious little town" she said laughing.

"Let's go start shopping. I'm not trying to fight today so let's just go." I told them . "Ok imma text Trey to meet us in Footlocker." I looked at Jayda to see if she was ok with it. She gave me a look that let me know that is was good.

We walked to Footlocker to look at some shoes. I didn't see any that I liked. "Bae once Jayda get done shopping let's go to my house and swim." I told him. "Actually let's go to mine and I'll have a pool party." he said. "Alright but I have to get my bathing suits." I told him.

"Imma post it on my insta. Everybody at our school invited?" he asked. See my baby is so sweet. He's making sure that it's cool if I see Archie or Evelyn. I reached up and connected our lips. It was a short and sweet kiss.

"Thank you baby. Thank you for considerate of me. You can invite everybody." I said. "Alright babe and of course I would. I want you to be happy. If she comes and you want her gone say the word." he said. "How did I get this lucky?" I asked. "No I'm the lucky one."he said.

"Jayda we are having a pool party" Christian said. "Already?" She asked. He nodded. As we were walking out I seen my friends. I walked over to them. "Hey V, you good?" Jughead asked. "Yeah I'm good Jug. Christian is having a party and y'all are invited ." I told them.
