Chapter 21

Shotaro's PoV: (age - 19 years old)

If I was told 9 years ago that I'll end up falling in love with the Guardian Demon of my dreams, 10 year old me would be so happy. Do I find it weird that I'm in love with a dead person? No- not really. I mean, I'm weird anyways so falling in love with a ghost is just the cherry on top.

But I feel like I should just move on from from Sungchan... It's not that I know it's going to be hard to date or do anything with him but it's more on... Let's just say- even though demons have powers and such, they are the least romantic creatures I've ever met.

"Channie~" I called out to the ghost. Sungchan hummed and appeared beside me. "What's up, Taro-chan?" Sungchan asked. I rolled my eyes when he called me using Japanese honorifics. "What happened to the 'Baby Otter' or even the 'Baby Taro' nicknames?"

I saw Sungchan give a small illegal smirk. "Aww~ Baby Otter is sad~" I glared at the other and 'pushed' him. "Oof-" I gaped as Sungchan fell from my bed to the floor when I pushed him. "I THOUGHT I CAN'T TOUCH YOU?" I exclaimed- confused.

"Well- you actually can.. If I allow you to touch me that is." Sungchan told me with a mischievous glint in his eyes. "I hate you." I pouted and crossed my arms. "No you don't!" Sungchan stood up from the floor and appeared in front of me. "You lo~ve me!"

I blushed and turned away from Sungchan, only for my face to be pulled towards Sungchan's own. "Why you blushing?" I stared into Sungchan's deep red eyes. I couldn't say anything.. I was drowning in his eyes. (A/N: Why in the world did I cringe writing this-)

"Baby Taro?" I got cut off of my thoughts and pushed Sungchan away from me. "You mean~" Sungchan whined like a baby. "Shut up.." I muttered under my breath. The demon hugged me, making both of us fall on the bed. "Be my boyfriend or else.."
