Chapter 29

Shotaro's PoV: (age - 21 years old)

"Yo, Taro. Wanna hang out later?" I heard Donghyuck ask me. "I could ask my brother but sure!" I replied. By now, I'm sure Yuta hyung doesn't care about me hanging out with my friends- it's Sungchan I'm worried about.

I mean, he knows about my friends and I know he won't be jealous but he's been overprotective over the past few days. I'm not sure why but he's been over the edge lately. "Hyung-" I call my brother but was immediately cut off.

"I know you want to hang out with your friends but you have to stay home right now." That made me confused. "But, hyung-" "It's about Sungchan." I paused. "Ok..." I replied in a whisper, ending the call right after. "Sorry, Hyuckie."

"It's fine!" Donghyuck gave me a reassuring smile. "Catch 'ya later!" I waved goodbye at him and went home. My smile quickly faded when I entered our house and was greeted by the solemn faces of Yuta hyung, Sicheng hyung, and their friends.

So many questions were swirling around my head but I don't know if I want answers. "Taro- you're here!" Sicheng hyung exclaims. "Come.." I slowly walked beside the Chinese boy and sat down beside him. "Y- you said this is about Sungchan?"

Yuta hyung nodded. Then why were your friends here? "Taro, I know I said that I don't mind you... dating Sungchan since he's been protecting you since you were a baby." I gulped, feeling a but coming. "But-" There it was. "I realized that I was wrong."

"W- what?!" I exclaim in shock. "Y- Yuta kun-" "I'm sorry, Shotaro." I felt betrayed. "What made you change your mind?" I ask, feeling defeated. He didn't answer me right away. "Jaehyun's a medium." My brother finally answered. A medium?

I don't need to know the size of your friend's clothes. "By medium- I mean, he's like a bridge from the spirit of world to the human world. He works with spirits." Wow- thanks for clarifying. "Anyways, he heard of you... dating a spirit and wanted me to explain the situation to him more."

I looked over at Jaehyun-ssi to see him nodding. He made me feel off... "I told him everything I know of Sungchan and how you guys ended up together." He stopped and sighed. "He told me that Sungchan's kind- demons, were dangerous creatures to deal with. He's dangerous."

"NO, HE'S NOT!" I exclaimed defensively. "HE'S- HE'S NICE! HE WOULD NEVER HURT ME!" I was already crying at this point as I defend my boyfriend from all of them. "Taro-" "NO!" I snapped "OSAKI SHOTARO! You are to stop dating that demon or else."

I glared at my brother. "You can't make him leave!" "Yes, I can!" Yuta hyung glared at me, making my heart break more. "Jaehyun here is gonna cleanse our house and put a protection spell around it so that that demon couldn't enter."

I stared at Yuta hyung, Sicheng hyung and Jaehyun-ssi. "W- Winwin hyung! P- please do something!" I sobbed. I sobbed even harder when Sicheng hyung avoided my gaze and shook his head. "I'm sorry, Taro.. I wish I could stop him but you know your brother..." I sobbed.

"I'll start the cleansing ritual." Jaehyun-ssi tells my brother, to that he nods. As Jaehyun-ssi passes by me, I shudder. His presence really makes me uneasy. "No more trying to contact Sungchan in any way or form, am I clear." I just nodded. "It's for the best."

A/N: I'm sorry for not updating and such... I'm trying to fix my thoughts and plot line for this story and as you could probably tell- it's taking a while but~ here I am, bringing you guys a longer than usual chapter and starting the drama~
