Chapter 12

Shotaro's PoV: (age - 17 years old)

Today was kinda odd. I wasn't usually awoken by an annoying ghost that I love so dearly. I wasn't greeted by him before I left to school. I haven't seen him the whole day! I may be overreacting but, IT'S WEIRD NOT SEEING SUNGCHAN AND HIS PRETTY AS- I MEAN, annoying ass.

"Shotaro, are you ok? You've been spacing out ever since you came to school." I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at my friends. "I'm fine, Jaemin hyung!" I gave them a smile to prove my point. "Are you sure? If someone bullied you, I'll get Jisungie to beat them up."

I chuckled at Chenle's suggestion. "Jisung can't even hurt a fly. How can he beat someone up?" I said. Jisung just pouted at me when the others agreed to my statement. "If it's not bullies, what's bothering you?" Renjun hyung asked me.

"It's- It's nothing, guys... I just have a lot in my head right now." Specifically about Sungchan. "If you say so... Anyone up for ice cream and milk tea later?" Donghyuck hyung asked all of us. Everyone raised their hands, including me. "I'll just inform my brother or Sicheng hyung."

Just so you know, hyung still hasn't asked Sicheng hyung if they can be boyfriends which is kind off annoying. They all nodded and waited for me to finish texting Sicheng hyung. I didn't even bother texting Yuta hyung because knowing him, he would forget and just scold me even though I texted him.

"Come on! We have to hurry off to class. Let's go!" Mark hyung dragged all of us to our respective classrooms and now, all we have to do is get through the day with out dying. After a long day, the eight of us went to get milk tea and ice cream. "See you guys!" I waved my friends goodbye. "Bye, my baby Otter!"

I was pinched in the cheeks by Renjun hyung. "Hyung~" I pouted in pain. I waved for the last time and entered the house. "Yuta hyung? Sicheng hyung?" I called out for my hyungs. "They're not here yet..." I looked around. "Sungchannie?" I called out to the ghost.

"Hey..." I saw Sungchan for the first time today. "Where were you?" I asked. Sungchan just shrugged. "You don't have to know." I furrowed my forehead. "Are you ok?" I heard Sungchan sighed. "I'm fine. Just go to your friends." Then Sungchan disappeared. Why did I see something in his eyes?
