Jack looked horrible. His cheeks were soaked with tears. His hair as messy as it can be. His clothes wrinkled. A broken wooden staff beside him as he lay his back on the window frame. His eyes were red as tears escaped.
What happened to him? Who could done things like this to him?
Pitch. His name gives a lingering anger inside Bunnymund. He could never forgive that man.
"Bunny." Jack muttered, Bunnymund's eyes widen. Jack had never called him Bunny before. Or.. Maybe?
He was used in his teasing. His voice whenever he calls him Kangaroo.
"...Jack. Want to tell me what happened?"
Jack broke his gaze with Bunny and glance at the window. "I don't want to talk about it." He spoke softly. Bunnymund could feel his heart tighten. He was used to seeing the Young Guardian cause trouble.
He preferred to see him cause trouble and get scolded. Anything but this.
He tried his best to jump off the bed, once he did; he fell on the hard ground of North's floor. Jack dashed towards Bunnymund to help him up.
"Are you stupid or just plain idiotic?" He asked the rabbit with his eyebrows furrowed.
Bunnymund chuckled softly, "I don't know, mate. What about you? Why don't you ask that question yourself?"
Jack paused, he lost track of where this conversation is heading.
"What do you mean?"
Bunnymund stood up, making himself taller than Jack before he spoke, "You..You said it yourself, didn't ya? You're the Guardian of snowballs and fun time. Didn't ya?"
Jack glance away, not wanting to meet his gaze as he nodded... "Yeah, I am." He answered.
"Then, answer me this. How can a Guardian of snowballs and fun time look so bloody depressed? Does being depress consider as fun? Hell no, Jack. Now I suggest you pick up ya'r ass and finish this chaos before it gets even worst. You gettin’ me, mate?"
Jack was too depress to process what the rabbit was saying. He didn't want any advice nor an opinion right now. So all he did was nod.
As for Bunnymund, he already knew that the boy in front of him doesn't understand the things he was saying. Normally, it would annoy him.
But the strangest thing happened, he walked straight to Jack and trapped him in his strong, buff, fluffy arms.
Trapping him in a warm yet comforting hug. And at that moment, Jack had tears in his eyes.
