In just a blink of an eye, Jaclyn was stand on perfectly still in front of Pitch.
"You've called?" She said monotonely. Pitch smirked widely as he stood up, drawing circles in the air as he watched his fingers. Soon, those circles turned into the figure of the Guardians.
"Jaclyn, darling...Tell me, how was the plan?" Pitch asked directly, letting the figures play on the palm of his hands.
"It didn't went well as planned." She answered bluntly. Her eyes resting one figure and one figure only. Jack.
"Really? Tell me, what did you observe?" Pitch asked, facing her as he let the figures disappeared. An amused smirk was beginning to invade his lips once he realized that she was looking at a figure that was too familiar for her.
"I've observed something far more different than fear, sorrow and anger." She answered plainly as she gaze upon Pitch's gold orbs.
"I see...What did you saw?" He asked as he inched closer to where the girl stood.
"I saw children. Their face stretched into a much wider smirk. The word...the feeling of happiness surrounds the room despite their unstable situation. Smiles and laughters filing each and every room.." She stated so quietly but Pitch heard it loud and clear.
"Children?" He suddenly spoke, his eyes trailed off to where Jaclyn's orbs rests, "What do you mean children? What happened to the potion I gave you?"
Jaclyn pull out something inside her pocket and showed the empty bottle to the man who stood in shock in front of her, "You mean this?" She spoke softly. Still refusing to meet his gold orbs.
Pitch quickly snatched the potion from her then examined it closely, "Darn! I gave you the wrong potion. Why do I even have these?!" He screamed as he broke the empty bottle, tossing it into the pot beside him. But then, an idea hit him.
"Jaclyn, dear...Tell me...How did you feel when you say those...smiles across their faces? Especially, Jack's."
With those simple words, a thousand of flashbacks came to her, the laughing of the two adult Guardian. The feeling she had whenever they did it so.
And then, she spoke.
"Curiosity."
Pitch had a huge grin across his face, "Jaclyn...I need you to do me a favor."
"...Anything for you, my lord."
