--May 2nd, 1997--
Harry woke Draco up with a kiss, and Draco smiled at the giggle girl. "Happy birthday baby!" Draco said and give her cheek a kiss. "Hard to believe she is already a year old, isn't it?" Harry said. "I wouldn't change it for the world, Harry. We never would have meet Tiffany or anything that has happened would have happened." Draco said and Harry smiled. "I know, I'll be at the coffee shop after work. I couldn't get the day off." Harry half frown. "That's alright. Me and the girls will be waiting happily on Pappy!" Draco said, and got a kiss form Harry. "I love you, very much." Harry said and Hurried to the office where he sat at his new desk in a kind of small area. Harry pulled out the picture frame and sat it up before turning to the computer. Harry really didn't bother looking up when the door open, but did when his picture frame got picked up. "I know you aren't eighteen yet, but I do plan on promoting you." Said Mr. Jones. "I figured or I wouldn't be in this office." Harry said, and he looked up at him. "The boyfriend and your kids?" He asked. "My husband and our children. Remember, don't ask questions." Harry said. "I remember. How is Mrs. White?" He asked. "Who?" Harry asked, not at all wanting to give details about Jessica, even if it wasn't her real last name. "I see." He said. "Maybe I can find out something, if you let me go after lunch? There's a reason I wanted today off." Harry said. "Why's that?" He asked and after a pause. "My daughter's first birthday is today. We planned a party at the coffee shop." Harry said. "It's it more of a bakery these days?" He laughed. "Narcissa and her husband love to bake. Really her but she has her charms. Anyway, it's this afternoon...but I was hoping to spend some time with my baby." Harry said. "Let me swing by?" He asked. "Sure, the party ends by seven though. A lot of babies form a playgroup." Harry said. "I can make that. Go, get out of here, Potter." He said. "seriously?" Harry asked. "Next time, just tell me why you want a day off." He said. "I rather keep my personal life personal if at all possible." Harry said. "Fair enough, but a little bit of information will help you get your time off. What does she like?" He ask. "Oh, no! You don't have to, believe me! She has a lot of toys and clothes sent form her god family and a lot of the playdate-" Harry started. "Harry." He half smiled. "Her daddy loves to dress her up. Her glasses are pink so a pink dress would make them both happy, but I promise, there is no need." Harry said. "Go. I'll see you this evening." He said, putting down the picture. "Thank you."
Little Nass did her best to run to Harry when he came into the coffee shop. "Hi, baby!" Harry smiled and picked her up. "Harry!" Draco smiled, giving Harry a kiss. "Not that I'm not glad to see you, but didn't you have to work?" Draco asked. "I did, but after I finally told my boss why I wanted the day off, He told me to go. That said, he is coming and Jessica needs to know." Harry said. "I'll make the call, looks like somebody wants her pappy. I feel so cheated on sometimes." Draco laughed, as Harry put Nass on his hip. "Why don't you show daddy our surprise?" Harry said giving her a tickle and after a moment. "Ove you dada!" Nass giggled out. "Oh, my goodness! I love you too, baby girl!" Draco cried, giving her such a big kiss on the check and she giggled out more as Harry got another kiss. "We both love you very much, Draco." Harry said. "I don't mind if she is a pappy's girl." Draco smiled. "Make the call, I'm going to take her out for a few." Harry said.
After another kiss, Harry walked out with Nass and hurried to the photoshop. Harry called on his way home to get some 1 year old pictures done of Nass who he put down on her feet. "Is this the birthday girl?" Smiled the young helper. "Yes." Harry smiled, before easing down. "We are going to take your picture for your birthday!" Harry smiled, and the worker took her small hand. "She walks fully?" She asked. "She does. She's even learning to run." Harry smiled.
"They will be ready in about a week." Said the photographer. "Thank you so much for getting us in today!" Harry said. "No problem!" He said and Harry picked up Nass who waved goodbye on their walk out. "Daddy is going to love your pictures!" Harry smiled and Nass nuzzled up to his neck. "Sleepy girl now." Harry smiled and Nass was asleep when Harry made it back to the coffee shop and laid her down in the office and helped everybody get everything ready for another birthday party. "Leo doesn't look to happy." Harry frown. "I think I'm going to send Sarah and Leo back to the house. Leo is overwhelmed and Sarah is starting to." Narcissa said. "Alright. Jessica knows about my boss, right?" Harry asked. "Yes, she's isn't to worried about him." Narcissa said. "Alright." Harry said, getting the last of the table set along with the gift table that was already pretty filled form gift sent or brought. Draco and Harry sat with Nass helping her open boxes. She was really nothing but a giggle mess. The fire in the fire place long put out but candles were starting to get a little out of control. A lot of whispers to the baby it took but she sat in Draco lap at the end holding a small bear she really seemed to like. "Narcissa and Lucius will have the cake brought out very soon." Harry smiled.
