Raising Narcissa Lily Malfoy

Chapter 59

Draco eased away form Harry and locked his hands on the bar that overlooked the area of the Elephants. He felt the kiss on his on cheek. "Are you sure you feel up to this?" Harry asked. "Yes, I am sure. You would be surprised how much it helps when your half holding my weight." Draco admitted kind of embarrassed. "Hey, don't worry. Nobody knows and the children are worried about seeing the animals." Harry smiled and Draco did just a touch. "Sarah is jealous of Narcissa Lily taking a part of his attention." Draco kind of laughed. "I have noticed, but it's been a rough time for her." Harry frown, getting a quick kiss. "Hush. We will get it handled. I know you don't think so, but-" Draco said. "Draco, it isn't that I don't think something will be done...Because it will even if I have to do so. I don't believe we should leave it to the law here, because they are shit...trust me." Harry whispered. "Is that the big thing you have spells hiding form Hermione and Ron?" Draco asked and he got a funny look form Harry. "You were asleep, how the hell do you know about that?" Harry asked. "Hermione talks to me, you know? She asked if I knew something, of course that would mean you talking about your childhood and you don't...ever. so of course I don't know, all I know is I know she's right. I know it also has to do with the scar on your back and the attitude you have towards any parenting. You haven't really had it...and aren't to sure what to think...or you are afraid to get close to somebody else that could offer a parental side because of what happened to your God father." Draco said and Harry let out a mix between a sigh and a huff. "Much like Hermione. You need to leave it alone or much like Hermione, I'll make you forget." Harry said. "I'll break both our damn wands before I'll let you. Something you don't seem to understand is the second you fucked me, you became mine to worry about. If that wasn't enough then the second that marriage certificate muggle thing proved we were married, that did. You can get pissy all you want, but I don't want to have to worry about you loosing yourself in thoughts about whatever happened to you because you haven't got help." Draco said. He could tell Harry wanted to be angry, but after a small huff, Draco go a like kiss. "Your stuck with me, no matter what...But you'll understand why I have my problems during the years." Harry admitted kind of quietly, before Draco retook his arm.

They didn't expect Narcissa Lily to wiggle down and run over to the bearded dragon. "Well hello there little missy." Said the male worker, before Harry made his way over to them and he eased Draco down to sit on the bench. "Pa!" She fussed pointing at the lizard. "She's a bit small, but she can pick it up if she knows to be carful." He said and Harry whispered something in her ear that he couldn't quiet hear before she smiled. "Care..full!" She said.
She was a giggle mess as the small lizard climbed up on her shoulder and nuzzled to her neck and she kept petting it's head on and off the next few minutes. Narcissa Lily was NOT very happy when it is was time to leave the lizard and she only ran and climbed up on a bench and crossed her arms. She was mad. She liked the lizard and want to go back and have her new little friend back on her shoulder. "Now little missy, you are not behaving yourself." Harry sat. "Want...lizard." she pointed. "Narcissa Lily, your Pappy said it to time to move on. There's other stuff you can see." Draco said. "Want...my...lizard." She said. "You might be a smart girl, but you aren't old enough to take care of your own pet." Harry said. "Am...to!" She fussed before Harry grabbed her shoulders and sat her on her little feet. "I said no. Now you aren't going to be a bad girl and ruin everybody's fun. So you stop this foolishness." Harry said, and she just whined before she run over to Lucius. Lucius only let out a sigh and picked her up, to where she side by his side the rest of the trip as Narcissa was still mad at Harry. At least until they got back into the van. She was over her little mood swing. "Pa!" She reached out for Harry. "Oh, now you want me?" Harry laughed, taking the toddler. "Still ... Want lizard." She said, giving his check a kiss. "When your older Nassy." Harry said, and she gave a yawn before she rested her head on his shoulder.
Harry smiled when they got back in the van, the children all had their new stuff animals or whatever little toy or gift they wanted form the gift shop. Overall it was a good day, even with so much going on...Harry was glad to spend the day with the family. A very complex family it may be, but it was his family.

Come early that next morning, as Lucius was sitting in his usual spot in the living room in the chair by the lamp so he could read his newspaper. This morning went different. He heard the small noises coming down the stairs. "Lady bug, what are you doing up so early?" Lucius said, but he didn't take his eyes off the newspaper. Narcissa Lily slowly climb on his lap, between him and the newspaper. "Lady bug, Grandpa is trying to read the paper." Lucius said but she hit the paper. It put it on her lap and she slowly flipped to a new page before she pointed to a pet store. "Lady but, your papa was clear about the lizard." Lucius said.
