It didn't take Jessica long at all to walk in. "Glad to see some colour back in your cheeks." Jessica said. "I take it I got real bad?" Harry asked. "A couple times, yes. Because of your heart being on your left side. However, we stabilized you and then Narcissa Lily Fixed your heart and a little of the bone damage, but Mr. I-have-to-go-back-to-work-tomorrow. She couldn't heal you completely." Jessica said. "Something tells me you won't let me go to work tomorrow." Harry said. "Not for a couple days at least, Harry. Use your brain, I know you have one." Jessica said and Harry let out a sigh. "Fine, fine. Can you at least get me put of here?" Harry asked. "Not going to be so easy. You'll be okay resting for once, Harry." Jessica said.
The next two days were very long for Harry, who on the third morning sat up in the hospital bed, with a book in his hands slowly reading. Harry sent Draco home to the girls, no point in Draco listening to Harry fussed about being stuck in the hospital. To make it worst, tomorrow was June 2nd, Draco's 18th birthday and Jessica can't get him out for a couple more days at least because there is a minor heart problem because of it. Harry heard the knock on the hospital door and looked up. "Jack, what are you doing here?" Harry asked. "Mrs. White gave me a call. Let me know you sent the hubby away." Jack said. "Yes, I did. Two little girls wanted him, and I hate for him to spend his birthday here." Harry said. "Today?" Jack asked. "Tomorrow, but the point is still the same. I'm stuck here over some jackass. At least tell me some good news." Harry said. "Yes, they found the man. He asked about a woman named Sarah White. I thought maybe Mrs. White had a sister, but it's no relation." Jack said. "Sarah White, is an eighteen year old single mother of two boys. Draco's mother has adult custody over Sarah, because she has Asperger's. So I guess she is my sister in law if you want to get technical. It's...confusing, but why did the officer ask?" Harry asked. "I'm not sure, it was rather odd. He only asked after knowing you were the one shot." Jack said. "I'll have to ask Sarah then." Harry said. "I'm glad to see you are-" Jack started. "I heard, but no need to worry. However, I'm stuck here and can't pick up the present I ordered for Draco." Harry asked. "I can run and pick it up." Jack said. "You sure?" Harry asked. "Positive, Harry." Jack replied and Harry dug out a card form his jeans that laid somewhat in a ball beside him. "1498 is the code when he asked for it. Thank you." Harry said and got a soft smiled. "No worries." Jack said.
Harry went back to reading his book for the next couple of hours. He was thinking of how ridiculous this was, he felt fine other then a little shoulder pain! Why must he still be here at the hospital when there was nothing else wrong with him? So Harry was a bit annoyed at every nurse that walked in, until they stopped trying. Jessica wasn't even answered when trying to talk to Harry who after a moment huffed out. "I'm going to throw this book at you if you don't leave me alone." Harry finally said. "Harry, what on earth is bothering you?" Jessica asked. "I think you know." Harry said and Jessica let out a sigh. "Let me see what I can do, Harry. You have to understand-" Jessica started. "I feel just fine! If it's the matter of me working, look I'll stay home a few days, but I'm going made and it's Draco's birthday tomorrow!" Harry fussed. "Let me see what I can do." Jessica said after a pause, before she walked out the room and Harry just throw the book across the room. He wasn't waiting, he was leaving, right now! Harry was dressed and holding his shoes when a couple doctors walked on. "Listen Mr. Potter-" Said the head doctor. "No! I've had it! Bring me the stupid police refusal whatever! I'm going home." Harry said. "Very well. I'll get your paperwork ready." He said, before walking out. Harry was also gone, before the doctor walked back in who turned to Jessica. "Everybody form that Malfoy family is getting to be a real pain." He said. "I told you already, I can handle it. They are...a very different kind of people." Jessica said. "Just get this signed and bring it back and do what you can at home for the boy." He said, before walking out.Harry was walking, already halfway back to the house when a car stopped beside him. "Seventeen and your the most stubborn person I know." Jack said, as the window rolled down. "Quite possible." Harry said. "In. I'll take you home." Jack said and after a pause Harry climbed on the car. "Is the building still closed?" Harry asked. "Until Monday. I'm not sure if Mrs. Andy is coming back or not." Jack said. "Understood. How are they?" Harry asked. "Well. She went to the hospital that morning to be sure her and baby was fine. They both are and she hasn't replied to my emails yet." Jack said. "I'll have Jessica make a house call then. See what's going on with her." Harry said. "I'm sure she'll call." Jack said, before Harry's phone went off and he pulled it out of his booked. "Speaking of Jessica. Your about to hear half a mother, half a doctor." Harry said, putting it on speaking. "Harry! Are you out of your mind!" Jessica said. "Your on speaker and I'm with Jack." Harry said quickly before she got to sharing to much information over the phone.
