"I love you to, Lady bug." Lucius said and before he knew it, she climbed on his lap and knocked the newspaper out his hand. He smiled before getting a hug form his four year old, very advanced, granddaughter, Narcissa Lily. Harry chuckled. "Alright, dinner is almost ready guys." Harry said.
A couple weeks later, August, 5th, Harry and Draco finally got away for Harry's birthday. They were in California, sitting at the sand at a bench early that morning. There were a small amount of people and Draco lend over, giving Harry a light kiss. "I meant to surprise you on your birthday, but happy birthday, Harry." Draco said softly. "I told you, I wasn't expecting anything anyway. This wasn't necessary." Harry said, but took Draco's hand. Draco smiled and kissed his hand. "Harry, I know...I haven't always been the easiest to deal with, because of the pregnancies, but you mean everything to mean. I want you to have a wonderful day. Even if it is only late." Draco said and Harry nodded, before giving him a light kiss. "I love you, very much." Harry said. "I love you too. Come on. Let's swim." Draco said.
After a couple hours in the water, the two boys went to get lunch. Draco had a light jacket on over his shoulder, zipped. It was charmed to keep his belly form showing. It was definitely out of place for the summer temperatures, but Draco wasn't going to be able to hide his belly another way. Harry stood still in his swimming trunks as they waited on their food. Draco kissed his cheek. "Do they have milkshakes this early?" Draco asked. "Are you sure you should have one? Won't that upset your belly?" Harry asked. "That's possible, but I really want one." Draco whined and Harry chuckled. "Alright, alright. Let's eat, and then I'll get you a milkshake." Harry smiled, before they got their food and sat down at a table.
Harry couldn't help but over hear the angry growing in the man a couple tables over, speaking hateful to his young son. That wasn't making Harry happy, who put his hand up. It stoped Draco form talking and Harry turned his head.
Harry got to his feet and walked over to the table. "You need to mind your business." The man spat. "You need to not get so hateful with your toddler." Harry fussed. "I'm not a toddler, Sir." Said the boy, who sounded more like a teenager. Harry turned, and looked a little closer at the small boy. He had dwarfism, but a teenager. "Either way, he isn't speaking to you properly." Harry said. "It isn't any of your business how I speak to my kid." The man spoke. "The whole block can hear you, speaking very hatefully to him." Harry said and after a pause the man huffed but thrown the boy some keys. He grabbed them off the table and walked off. "Can you drive?" Harry asked. "Yes, My car has a special steering wheel." He said, getting out of the chair. "Do you have someplace to go, that isn't around him?" Harry asked. "A couple friends I guess." He said and Draco then walked over. "Harry?" Draco asked. "It's not what we planned, but his father needs time to cool off. His a teenager, I'll explain later." Harry said. "Well, our hotel room has a second bed and bathroom. We also won't be there for a while. Would you like to relax there for a few hours?" Draco offered. "I'm certain you guys are on a honeymoon of some kind, I'm not going to impose." Spoke the teenager. "Your aren't. We have two daughters just of our own to care for. We are young yes, but your father was very unhappy. I would feel more comfortable, if you went there for a few hours. Rest. Watch TV. Whatever it is teenagers with little responsibilities do these days." Harry said, holding out his door key. Draco had his in his coat pocket. "Okay." He said.Harry and Draco sat at the bar of an ice cream shop. Draco was drinking his milkshake. "Harry, what made you do that? I'm sure it wasn't just the angry his father said." Draco asked. "He's been abused. I could tell it. I can't really explain it. I'm not sure if his father is the cause, or maybe bullies. I know people with his condition would have problems out of bullies because they are so different, but I just...feel better if he stays away form his father, for a little while at least." Harry said and Draco nodded. "Okay. It's yummy." Draco smiled, a little giddy. Harry chuckled. "I'm glad you like your milkshake. The children are about to be out of school for a couple weeks, so they can get them ready for the next level." Harry said. "How come we have them in a year world school?" Draco asked. "I believe it is better for them overall. The lesson plans alone they spend more time on. It's a little more expensive, but I fell it's worth it." Harry said. "Well, I believe you. I just know the girls aren't the happiest about having a little summer vacation." Draco said. "Even if they did. I would have them in some educational activies. It's proven so much information can and will be lost over a long summer vacation. They are already in gymnastics and Narcissa Bell is wanting to join this book close, too." Harry said. "Isn't sure a little young for a public book club?" Draco asked. "Not really, but she also applied for the middle school club and was approved. She wants to do it, very badly." Harry said and Draco shrugged his shoulders. "How do you feel about that?" Draco asked and Harry let out a sigh. "Not good, but Narcissa said to just get her a phone too. One she can only call us on in case of emergencies." Harry said.
