The adhaan for the first prayer of the day resonated throughout the entire area as far as six miles from the mosque. The melodious voice of the muezzin seeped in through the windows as the city buzzed with people rising to offer their prayers to their Lord.
Fatima and Amina woke up alongside the rest of the people and since there was a little time before the prayer would start, they both had time to brush their teeth, perform ablution and change into something more decent which was just an abaya over their night wears.
After they returned, both of them couldn't go back to sleep so they decided to come back down and take a walk around the lobby of the hotel. They found a waiting area with a swing and a set of couches so when they got tired, they sat there and took some pictures much to Amina's delight and Fatima's displease but the pictures did end up coming out nice so she couldn't complain much.
By 7am, the sun had fully risen and since they were hungry, they went out to find a place to buy breakfast from. They found the nearest coffee shop and sat down for some coffee and pastries. A half hour later, they were done and they finally went back up to their room.
They still didn't feel sleepy or even tired so they proceeded to get ready and start the day earlier than they had planned. They went to the clock towers and roamed about to see if anything caught their attention. Nothing much did so they roamed about for some time until Amina spotted a customization shop that could personalize anything you wanted. She decided to buy matching gold bracelets for them in a nearby shop and get them customized with their names in Arabic. The shopkeeper told them it would take two days which was perfect since that was the day they would leave so that would probably be the last thing they do before they leave the city.
By zuhr, they went back up to their room to get ready for the prayer which was about fifteen minutes away from being called. They wanted to go earlier so they could get front seats in the praying area.
Fatima wore one of the hijabs Muhammad had gifted her, it was the magenta one and she took a picture and sent it to him as a streak on Snapchat. Then she scrolled down her camera roll and found a picture of her and Amina from earlier where she was wearing one of the chiffon hijabs he had gotten and sent that too since she had forgotten to send it earlier while they were out. She put the WiFi off and put the phone in one of the hijab pockets knowing he was on break and would immediately reply once he sees the message come in.
She was the only person he talked to on Snapchat anyways since she literally forced him to get the app just so she could send him snaps of stuff that happen during her days and he has zero idea how the app works. He did it just because she wanted him to.

They stayed back in the mosque until asr after which they went to find something to eat for lunch. They found a Lebanese restaurant in the clock tower where they ordered rice and kibbeh with kafta kebabs.
Fatima brought out her phone to take a picture of the food and saw a reply from Muhammad. "You make them look a 1000 times better❤️"
A blush crept to her cheeks and she quickly typed a thank you and then snapped the food and sent it to him too. "Lover girl kenan. What is in-law saying that is bursting your brain now?" Amina teases. "Oh I even forgot, I'm fighting with him so don't tell me." She adds.
"No actually tell me, I want to know. My gulma will never let me."
Fatima laughs. "I'm not telling you anything ai we're keeping secrets from each other so I'll keep it to myself."
"What did I hide from you Fatima Kabir? You cunning woman!" Amina gasps. "Who were you talking to last night?" She goes straight to the point.
"Oh... uhmm... its.... it's actually no one important."
"See! You're definitely hiding something and I'll find out. You never stammer unless you're lying. Now spill before I use my FBI skills on you." Fatima says.
Amina sighs, "fine! It was Dawud" she informs with her head down. Fatima gasps, her eyes popping in surprise. "Stop! Really?" She asks excitedly. Amina gives a little nod and Fatima shrieks, hugging her from across the table.
"Oh My God! I can't believe this! Wait really? So we're dating best friends. Eek! I'm so excited, we'll go on double dates all the time now and Muhammad and I don't have to feel guilty about leaving you both alone." She rambles.
"Okay, calm down! First of all, I never said we're dating. I just said I was on the phone with him last night. And I've never seen you this excited since I've known you." She explains. "Yeah? But you like him, don't you? You know I would say I knew it but I would be lying but I swear the thought has crossed my mind before and it's just so amazing. We get to do practically everything together."
"Well that would be exciting, but for now, we have a bus tour we need to get to and if we don't start eating now and leave soon, we would miss it."
They eat in comfortable silence for the next twenty minutes randomly making comments about things. When they were done, Fatima literally pulls Amina out of her chair and they start walking back to their room to freshen up and get ready for their tour of significant places in Mecca."You owe me a whole lot of gist when we get back." Fatima says. "And you will tell me what In-law was telling you that was making you blush." Amina retaliates. "I hear you. Now let's get out of this place before we miss that bus." Fatima drags her out.
The bus tour took them all around the beautiful city of Mecca. Their first stop was Jabal Al Nour where they saw the cave of Hira; the Prophet (SAW) had received the first revelation there. Next they went to the Mecca Museum, then the Abu Qubays building and it was just about time for Maghreb so they stopped by the Aisha Al Rajhi Mosque to pray and then the tour guide left them at the Mecca Mall with maps to find their ways home.
They got home around 9pm that night and Amina slouched on the couch as soon as she was close enough. The next time she woke up was for subhi.
