Chapter 73: Birthday

-Friday Morning-

Today is my birthday. I am beyond excited to be turning 17 but I really miss my parents. My mom is still MIA and my Dad is off with his new "hot" girlfriend. My life was so different a year ago. I had my parents together, I lived in a different state, I was being bullied every single day. But there has been a plus in this last year. I found Austin, well more like he found me. I couldn't be happier. My life can only go up from here. 

I open my eyes and just stare at the ceiling. I have so much on my plate over the next couple of days, but at least I get today off of everything. I am taking the day off school, off of gymnastics and celebrating it with the people who care about me the most. 

My thoughts are interrupted by a light knock on the door. I sit up and Austin is walking in with a tray of breakfast food. The stack of pancakes has a candle on the top of it. 

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear (Y/N), happy birthday to you." He says as he walks across the bedroom and sits down on the bed. I blow out the candles and he leans over and gives me a kiss. 

"Thank you." I say to him with a smile. 

"You're welcome baby. This day is all about you." He says. I look at the delicious platter that Austin has prepared for me. Pancakes, bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, sausage.

"How do you expect me to eat all of this?" I ask with a slight chuckle. 

"I didn't. My mom made it for the both of us." He says.

"Oh so you didn't slave over this hot meal for me?" I ask him raising my eyebrow.

"Listen, I made the eggs, that is all I really can do." He says. We both laugh.

"Well thank you, it really means a lot." I tell him, he kisses my head.

"Anything for you, you mean the world to me." He says as he wraps his arm around me. I lean into his arms. 

"I love you." I say to him.

"As I love you. Now lets eat!" He says. I laugh at him. He is so cute. 

"Lets, I am starving." I say to him. We both dig in to the breakfast. 

I do not have that big of an appetite, so Austin eats way more than I do. But eventually we finish all of the food that was on the platter. Austin sets the tray on to his nightstand and we both fall back on to the bed. I let out a huge sigh.

"Man I have never eaten that much in my life." I say. He laughs.

"I can say I have eaten more than that." He tells me.

"Why am I not surprised?" I say as I roll over and look at him.

"I don't know." He says. We both laugh.

"So what are the plans today?" I ask him.

"Well, I have lunch planned for us. It is a surprise where we are going, and then we are going to come back here and hang with my mom." He tells me. 

"Awesome! I can't wait." I tell him.

"Our lunch plans are at 12:30, so we have a little bit before we need to get ready." He says.

"Well I need to shower." I tell him as I stand up off the bed.

"Hmmm... maybe I can join you?" He says with a smirk.

"Hmmm, sounds tempting." I say, we both lock eyes and run into the bathroom. 

-After Shower- 

I am just laying in bed with Austin wrapped in a towel. He has his arms wrapped around me. 

"Okay I should really get dressed now." I say to Austin as I stand up off the bed. He wraps his arms around my waist again and pulls me back into bed. 

"5 more minutes please." He says, he gives me puppy dog eyes. I look at the clock and see that it is 11:15. 

"No if I don't go get ready now, I won't be ready in time." I tell him. He frowns. 

"Okay." He says, he unwraps his arms from around my waist and lets me stand up. I turn around and lean down and give him a kiss. He smiles. 

I go into the closet and pick out my outfit for the day, then I walk into the bathroom and start getting ready.

I wonder what Austin has planned for us today. I am excited.
