Running into you

Chapter 71: Paola

-next day-

I wake up to my alarm clock and get up for school. I walk into the closet and choose out my outfit for today.

The outfit I chose out is a black cashmere sweater, pink leggings, and gray uggs. The accessories I choose out is a black knit beanie, an anchor necklace and a heart ring.

I walk out of the closet, and see Austin's still sleeping. I walk over to him and kiss his cheek.

"Love you babe." I whisper in his ear.

"Love you too." He says quietly. I grab my phone off my nightstand, then I walk downstairs, and into the kitchen.

I grab and Apple and sit down at the island and start eating it. I pull out my phone and scroll through Instagram liking a bunch of photos.

Once I finish my apple I throw the rest of it away and check the time. It's 7:15, I need to start driving to school. I grab my keys, and walk out to my car.
I start my car and start blasting Austin's EP, and pull out of my driveway.

-later-

I pull into the schools parking lot, and park my car. I step out and all my friends walk over to me.

"So what's up girly." Paola says.

"Nothing. School." I say laughing. Paola has been my friend since I transferred here. I love her so much. She's my little Puerto Rican body guard.

"So first block I heard we're gonna be doing some cool experiment." She says.

"Awesome." I say. We walk into the schools hallway, and all these girls start running at me, asking for pictures and shit. It happens every day.

The school wants me to get my GED and get out of here so this whole thing will stop, but I want to graduate with a whole class of people, and go to school every day like a normal person.

Paola and I walk into first block and sit down in the back.

Let's get school over with.
