Konichiwa~ Here's another dose of LIGHT YAGAMI, lol.

 Thanks, y'all. <3

Light sat back on his chair, intently waiting for (y/n) to enter the classroom door but she didn't. He waited all day long but she didn't turn up a all. He was pissed.

Pissed that he didn't know where she lived nor does she have any friends he can inquire.

The next day, he waited for her again and finally when she walked in through the classroom door he had never been more relieved.

He didn't tear his gaze off of her as she walked and occupied her desk. As their eyes locked, she averted her gaze and started listening to class.

He wanted to speak to her immediately but he had to wait till lunch. As the lunch bell rang, he turned around to ask her to come with him but she wasn't in her place.

He suppressed a groan and picked up his lunch and walked to the canteen to eat his lunch. Just as he entered, he noticed (y/n) crawl into a bush, through the window.

He softly smiled to himself and went over to her.

"Hey (y/n)~" he said, as he sat down next to her.

"What the-? Hey! Go elsewhere! Didn't I tell you about my loner image?" she said, frantically looking around.

"Yes, that's why I made sure no one was looking while I came here," Light said, opening his lunch box.

"As if! Do you even know about the fan base you have at school? I'm leaving," she said and got up but was pulled back down by Light. She lost her balance and almost fell on the lunch in front him. Her hair fell back and glasses were askew. He was staring into her (e/c) eyes.

"My, my! Free romance as well? I don't regret dropping the death note," Ryuk said, laughing and sitting down in front of Light and (y/n) who became conscious of their very intimate position and shifted a feet away from each other, looking away.

"Okay, to be clear, I have a boyfriend and second, I have better taste in men, okay? I'm not interested in psychopaths," (y/n) said as she scooted even farther from Light and started gobbling her food.

"Ouch, (y/n) that hurt my pride. Anyways, I'm inviting you to my house again for another episode," Light said, smiling.

Light had given proper thought to what he was going to do, the previous night.

He was going to play (y/n) right into his hands by making her somehow, reveal her real name so he could get rid of her. The plan was perfect. His charms had never failed in making a girl bow for him.

"No, sorry, I have plans today. A date with my boyfriend,"  she said, stressing on the words.

"A date?" Light asked curious, or rather mad. This boyfriend of hers is going to be a problem. He had to eliminate him first.

"Yeah. Now let me eat," she said as she stuffed herself with her food.

Later that day, (y/n) got ready for her "date". She was only meeting this boyfriend of hers so she could get her weekly information report on what was going on in the Investigation Unit he was working in.

She reached the decided location. It was a candle-light dinner date. The kind of date (y/n) hated.

(a/n: I'm sorry if you like these kinds of dates but this is how you are in this book T-T <3)

"Hey babe! Sorry~ There was a lotta traffic," (y/n)'s boyfriend, Haruki Hasako said as he bent over to peck her on the lips.

He was like any other average looking dude in his early twenties. He had a well-built body and was wearing a suit. They met by accident.

Five months ago, (y/n) was on her way back to her hotel from the beach. She had spent a little too much time on there and it had become pretty late in the night. She often took trips like these and just like any other time she was enjoying her time.

She almost reached her hotel when she was suddenly attacked by two men, who were after her camera.

She blamed herself for the attack since she hadn't bothered putting her expensive camera back in its case and slung it casually around her neck.

She was already too exhausted that day and was pissed off when they attacked. She went a little too harsh on them.

They lay there, limp with a bunch of broken bones and immobilized. After heaping one of them over the other, she sighed and fell back, spent. She pulled off her glasses, pulled her hair up and carefully put her camera back in its case. She tried getting up but she fell back down as the fatigue took its toll on her. She groaned in frustration and laid back on the pavement next to the muggers.

"You alright?" she heard a deep voice above her. She snapped her eyes open and sat up.

"Woah! Calm down, I ain't gonna hurt you. Are you okay? Can you move?" the dude asked, slowing placing his palm on her lower back. He had crouched down beside her.

"These were the muggers we were after for a while. I'm a cop, don't worry. Did they hurt you?" he asked. (y/n) looked at him and shook her head, pretending to be the victim.

"Alright then! Let's go," he said, and scooped her up.

She didn't fight back and went along with it and now here she was, with him on a candle-light dinner date. She agreed to date him so she could get her weekly information about the police headquarters and updates.

No other reason. He wasn't her type. He was too soft for her.
