~{Leon's POV}~

After that little fiasco with Louis and Kai, me and my brother are outside of the auditorium doors as the lookout. Louis and Zoe were currently rehearsing the Adler play. Now you may be wondering how I ended up in this situation. Well...

~{Flashback}~

"Hey! What's the matter with you two?" A stern, annoyed voice called. The voice belonging to a young red deer. He was talking to my brother and I behind a goat, whose name is Zoe.

"I'm stooping to ask you for help. You could look a little flattered."

"Um..." Legoshi started. "What is it you want us to do exactly?" He asked.

"Hold on a sec. I'll explain." Louis responded.

"Zoe. Congratulations on being cast as Tem's replacement." Louis congratulated Zoe, which caused him to rub his neck anxiously.

"Th-Thank you so much! I'll do my best!" Zoe bleated.

"We're rehearsing in the auditorium later tonight. Are you ready?"

"Y-Yes, of course!"

His voice. His gestures. His.... gaze. This red deer captivates everyone. He knows how to charm others and make people awestruck. When he steps onstage, the atmosphere changes. Not only the audience, but even the stagehands are spellbound. It's almost as if Adler, the Grim Reaper has bewitched us. Louis. The star of Cherryton's drama club and actor's team leader. He's only two years older than me, both age-wise and year-wise. I wonder how much time he spends polishing his antlers.

"How ironic it is to see you here. O'Dea the Water Spirit." Louis says his line.

"W-What?" Zoe bleated, questioningly.

"We're rehearsing. Give me O'Dea's line."

"O-Oh. I-I'm sorry. I-I h-haven't learned my l-lines y-y-yet." Zoe stuttered.

Louis then turned his head and walked over to Zoe and grabbed his mouth. I made an audible yelp and hid behind Legoshi. That was totally uncalled for!

"He's scary..." I whispered. Legoshi nodded in response.

Louis stared into Zoe's eyes with a scorching glare, still holding his jaw in a firm grip.

"L-Louis! W-What-"

"Now now, don't tell me you went and ate that script? That is all you goats are good for, isn't it? Eating paper? This isn't the place to go showing off you know."

"I-I'l memorize it by tomorrow! I-I p-promise!" Zoe bleated, quivering.

"Good." Louis then proceeded to harshly push Zoe aside.

Wow. He's kind of an asshole isn't he?

"Come with me."

Legoshi and I looked at each other wearily. We both complied before we got yelled at. Zoe did too. Louis led both of us to the door. He then turned to us.

"You pups will be the lookout, okay? Zoe and I will be rehearsing in the auditorium tonight."

"What?! B-But isn't sneaking out of the school against school rules?!" Zoe and Legoshi shouted in unison.

"You'll be fine. You're not even going that far anyway. Just outside the doors." Louis said. "Zoe, come on." He ordered. Zoe obliged and followed Louis to the auditorium.

~{Present}~

So yeah. That's how my brother and I ended up outside, standing around.

~{Legoshi's POV}~

I hope they finish up soon. I then heard a rustling noise from the ground. I looked down to find a small little cricket. Carefully kneeling down, I spoke to it.

"What are you doing here little buddy?" I asked. I was always fascinated with insects when I was a pup. I slowly lent my hand out towards the cricket.

"What are you doing here? I should be asking myself that question." I looked around.

He must be working Zoe hard. They haven't even turned on the lights. What someone catches us? Will me and my brother get suspended? Well, I doubt anyone would be out this late at night anyway. After what happened to Tem.

*Sniff*

I turned my head around to where the scent was coming from.

I smell an herbivore.

It's close by. And alone.

Wait. I need to focus on my senses. Hm... small body size... an herbivore... about... 30 feet away from me.

I looked over at the big fountain spouting water and noticed it. My prey.

I looked over to my younger brother to see if he sensed anything. He did. His ears perked up. He looked worried. I wonder why that is. No matter. I stared at the small herbivore, concentrating on it.

It's ears also perked up. It stopped. It sensed me. I charged at it. I heard Leon yelling for me, but I payed no mind. It only took a couple seconds for me to reach my target. I came face to face with a very small rabbit. And my own instincts.
