The Wind Rises {Where No One Can Feel it Below} Part Two

After a few more minutes of walking around trying to find my brother, I saw him strutting down the hall. I ran up to him and tapped his shoulder.

"Hey!"

"O-Oh. Hey..."

"Mind telling me what happened back there?" I asked. He sighed. "...Haru made... an advance on me. She's known around the school as a slut."

"I see."

"I don't think she is though. She seems very nice."

"Agreed. Leon, it's time for biology hour. Let's go."

He led the way to the wolf room. Biology hour is basically spending an hour in a room filled with a certain animal species. In our case, wolves. The wolf room stimulates our natural environment, so that we can live the rest of our daily lives in peace.

Different rooms have different environments, depending on the type of animal. For example, polar bears have a room with a pretty cold climate.

In the wolf room, there's a fake moon hanging down from the ceiling. It's supposed to simulate moonlight.

"Do rabbits really live on the moon?" A wolf beside me queried. "How would they breathe up there?" Another wolf countered.

I glanced at Legoshi. He seems to be deep in thought. Understandable, considering that when Haru tried to do it with him, that's the first time someone treated him as a male animal.

I put a hand on his knee. He looked at me. I nodded, and stood up. He did the same and followed me out the room, even though biology hour isn't finished yet.

"What's wrong Legoshi?" I asked him as we walked through the hall. We stopped at a nearby window.

"It's just.... there's this... feeling inside me I can't explain."

"Care to elaborate?"

"It's as if, for a moment, I caught a glimpse of my true self. I feel like I could step into the sunlight. Move forward and feel the breeze from my wagging tail."

I smiled. I patted my older brother's back. "You're feeling happy, Legoshi."

His face lit up as I said that, a small smile across his face. "Then... I'll accept this other feeling too. I... I want to see her again."
