Lola:

I rush through the door to Jenna's house, my hands resting on my stomach and cradling my child. Dan, Eli, and Isaac follow quietly behind me. As soon as I enter the door, I see Jenna on the couch in her spacious living room, watching television. She's relaxed, so I know everything must have went well. "She's down the hall, first door to your left," she says softly, and I almost run down the hallway.

I open the door and my mouth drops open in awe, my eyes getting watery. Selena is propped up in the bed peacefully, a baby boy in her arms. Phil is sitting up next to her, looking down at his son. My friend is obviously exhausted, her hair beyond messy, but the happiness practically radiates off of them both.

They both look up at me, having heard me charging down the hall and opening the door. "Lola! You're home!" Selena calls out, and almost hands the baby to Phil in an attempt to get up, but falls back against the pillows before she can. "Come here. I'm too tired to get up," she orders, and I walk over to her side, wrapping my arms around her. She hugs me back as best she can, and Phil takes their son so she can give me a proper hug. After a moment, I let go and sit on the bed at her feet. "What's his name?" I ask, a smile on my face. "This little guy is Alduin Smaug," she whispers, a grin on her face as she looks down at him. I almost laugh at the name. "He's beautiful," I whisper. Already, he favors Phil, but I see a lot of Selena in him as well.

A few seconds pass, and Dan enters the room, Eli and Isaac trailing behind him. They all stare at the baby, and after a minute Phil hands him to me. He's so small and beautiful, just like my baby will be when it's born.

"Who is this?" Phil asks, looking at Eli. "He's bonded to Lola. I assume we'll be seeing a lot of him," Isaac answers, and Dan frowns in response. I wonder if Dan noticed my attraction to Eli. Eli is, of course, attractive, but after a few minutes the attraction I felt for him turned into a brotherly bond. He's not Dan, and he doesn't make my heart skip a beat. Now, I know I could never see him as more than a friend.

"It's nice to meet you. Congratulations to you two new parents," Eli says, smiling warmly at Phil and Sel. He reaches out and shakes Phil's hand.

In a few short months, I'll be the one on the bed with a new baby in my arms. It hits me how little time Dan and I have left to prepare.

"I can't wait to meet you. I already love you so much. You have all these people looking forward to meeting you. You are loved by us all," I whisper, rubbing my growing baby bump.

We are finally home. Selena has a healthy baby boy. Eli is most certainly going to be a good friend, and my baby is safe and is going to arrive soon.

All is well.

A/N

Hey everyone! There is only one chapter left of this story! This has been a long journey, one that I'm glad you all endured with me. There may e a sequel at some point. I don't want to let these characters go. I am not close to being done with them, so there will be a sequel at some point it time. It will probably be a while before I start it though. I hope to finish some other stories soon. Thank you all for reading.
